Good morning and a happy Sunday to everyone. I’m off to Manhattan again today for a little bit in the morning and then hopefully spending some quality time with my stamps after that! Today’s project I made for a wonderful friend of mine Sandy. She is super talented and just the nicest person you could ever want to meet. You can check out her blog at www.stampwithsandy.com. I have made a few of these cards and I love them. I used the Totally Tess Stamp Set (Retired List) because I think that Sandy looks a little like Tess! I started with a piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock cut to 12″ x 5 1/2″. It is scored at 1/2″, 3 1/2″, 4″, 7″, 8″ and 11″. The two windows are cut out of the larger outside pieces. The inside “wallpaper” is from the no longer available Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper from Sale-A-Bration 2012. I stamped Tess and all of her accessories in Basic Black Ink and cut them out with my Paper Snips. The I Love Stamps on the bag is stamped in Poppy Parade and adhered to Tess with a Mini Glue Dot. The wood stamp and the card are stamped in Crumb Cake and the heart on the stamp is colored in with Cajun Craze. Tess is colored in with Blush Blossom, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Not Quite Navy and Soft Suede Stampin Write Markers. The markers around the border of the front of the card are colored in with the 2011-2013 In-Color Markers and Not Quite Navy. Finally the greeting on the card is stamped in Poppy Parade and punched out with the Modern Label Punch. The two Poppy Parade paper dots are punched out with the Owl Builder Punch.
