Good morning peeps! Welcome to one of my favorite days of the week, Wednesday. It’s a great day because it means we are halfway through the week. I’m getting excited because I am going up to Vermont for a few days to visit some friends. It will be nice to get away for a bit but I will be taking some crafting stuff with me so I don’t go through withdrawal! Today’s card is another sneak peek at a new Stamp Set from the 2012 Holiday Catalog. I also CASE’d some of it from a sample in the catalog. The base of the card is Pool Party Card Stock. I embossed a piece of Crumb Cake with the Houndstooth Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The stamped images are all from the Perfectly Preserved Stamp Set*. The jar is stamped in Pool Party, the stems are stamped in Lucky Limeade, the flower on the right is stamped in Primrose Petals and the one on the left is stamped in More Mustard and cut out with the new Cannery Framelits Dies*. I used a 3/16″ Metallic Brad in the middle and mounted it to the card with a Stampin’ Dimensional. I backed the Whisper White Stamped piece with some more Pool Party and adhered the whole thing to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals too. The greeting is stamped in Primrose Petals and punched out with the Small Oval Punch. I really like the simplicity of this card and I am loving the Perfectly Preserved Stamp Set* and coordinating Cannery Framelits Dies*.
