Now on to today’s post that is for the Fab Friday Challenge #2. First I would like to thank the crew over there for choosing my card as one of their Fab Faves for the last challenge. And what a soothing color combination it is. I wanted something clean and simple so I CASE’d a card from this month’s Demonstrator Magazine Stampin’ Success. The base of my card is Sahara Sand Card Stock. I used a piece of So Saffron cut to 5″ x 3 3/4″ and rounded the corners with the 1/2″ Circle Punch. I then stamped the dots from the Border Banter Stamp Set in So Saffron and adhered it to the card with SNAIL. The chevron stamp from the same set is stamped in Basic Gray on Basic Gray and flagged on the one end and mounted to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut three strips of Basic Gray in 1/4″ x 4″ strips and adhered them to the card across the lower half with SNAIL. The greeting uses the the border from the Memorable Moments Stamp Set and the words from the From My Heart Stamp Set, both stamped in Basic Gray, and cut out with the Labels Collections Framelits Dies. Some more Stampin’ Dimensionals mount it to the card. I really love the colors combined with the simplicity of the layout, it really helps call you attention to that sweet greeting!
