Paper Craft Crew Grand Opening!

Hello! Welcome to the Grand Opening of the Paper Craft Crew Challenge blog! I am so happy to be a part of this great team. We have lots of giveaways and surprises in store for you along with some great challenges! To celebrate I will be giving away a $25 gift certificate to purchase whatever you want from Stampin’ Up! The $25 dollars is for merchandise and I’ll pick up standard shipping and tax too! All you need to do is leave me a comment on this post and another on the Paper Craft Crew post for this challenge mentioning my name. The winner will be randomly selected next week, simple! While you are over at the Paper Craft Crew blog why not make a card and post it for this week’s challenge. This week we have a great sketch to celebrate our Grand Opening…

Lots of elements and room for interpretation. My card starts with a base of Always Artichoke Card Stock. I embossed a piece of Crumb Cake with the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Across the bottom is a piece of Riding Hood Red that I stamped with the Good Cheer Builder Wheel in Riding Hood Red. A piece of retired Riding Hood Red Satin Ribbon goes across the middle. The image is from the Winter Memories Stamp Set and is stamped in Basic Black and colored in with Riding Hood Red, Always Artichoke,  Marina Mist, Rose Red, Perfect Plum, Crumb Cake, Pretty In Pink, Bashful Blue and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers. I cut it out with the Labels Collection Framelits Dies, turning it a second time to get the squared shaped. Some piercing with the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool helps dress it up and it’s adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Merry Minis Stamp Set and the Merry Minis Punch Pack make the little banner stamped in Riding Hood Red and Always Artichoke. Some Whisper White Bakers Twine strings them together. The greeting is from the Winter Memories Stamp Set too and is stamped in Always Artichoke and underlined with the Always Artichoke Marker. I edged it with the marker to before I adhered it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The button is a Naturals Designer Button with a Whisper White Bakers Twine bow. I adhered it to the card with two stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals. I love the homey warm feel of the card, it makes all of the coloring worth it! I hope that you enjoyed my Paper Craft Crew Design Team card for our Grand Opening! Don’t forget to leave your comments! You can visit the other designers by clicking on the list  in the sidebar. Have a great day everyone!

  1. Beautiful card! 😀 I don’t have a die cutting machine to make the shapes so I will simply admire what everyone else makes instead 😀
Popping over to PPC right now 😀

    1. Twinkle Toes… Even if you don’t have the die cut machine we would love to have you play along with the Paper Craft Crew! A sketch is meant for interpretation and I would LOVE to see how you creatively work you way around not having the die cut machine.

  2. Me again 🙂 I couldn’t find anything on PCC (not ppc I know :/), about the grand opening, so I left a comment in the ‘Contact Us’ box.
