Good morning! What’s up in your neck of the woods today? It’s supposed to rain/snow here. FUN! I went to my Stamp-A-Stack last night and got some much needed Holiday cards made. I feel much better now. I still have some more to go but 16 is better thank none!
Today’s post is for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge. This week we have an interesting sketch from Julee Tilman…
I decided to use some Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper that I got from the clearance rack recently. It coordinates with the Merry & Type Stamp Set that is in the current annual catalog. The base of my card is Whisper White Card Stock. I used a piece of Old Olive for the background. Across the bottom is a piece of Early Espresso that I embossed with the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The top half and the two pieces on top of that are the Letters to Santa DSP. A small piece of Cherry Cobbler creates the flagged piece. The image is from the Merry & Type Stamp Set and is stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I punched it out with the Postage Stamp Punch and backed it with a piece of Old Olive that I punched out with the 1 3/8″ Square Punch. The greeting is from the Joyous Celebrations Stamp Set and is stamped in Old Olive and punched out with the Small Oval Punch. Both are adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Who doesn’t like a little clearance rack purchase, especially when it coordinates with something that’s still current?! I hope that you enjoyed this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge card.
