Hello there! How are all of you doing today? I’m good, I have to run into Manhattan tonight after work so it’s going to be a very long day! I’m hoping to not sleep past my stop on the way home, I have done that before and it’s not fun at all! It was rainy and overcast here again yesterday and is supposed to get much colder. I think we are supposed to get some snow tonight too, hopefully only a dusting. On a side note the 2013 Spring Catalog is one of the featured catalogs on the Google Catalogs App for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices. A super clean and simple sketch indeed! In the spirt of trying to get some Valentine’s card ideas that’s what I went with. The base of my card is Whisper White Card Stock. For the background I used a piece of Pool Party on the bottom left and some Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper** on the top right. For some separation I punched out a piece of Primrose Petals with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and used some 2-Way Glue to adhere it diagonally. The images are from the Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set and they are cut out with the Hearts a Flutter Framelits Dies. Some Stampin’ Dimensionals hold them in place. The greeting is from the Seasonal Sayings Stamp Set and is stamped in Primrose Petals. I’m really liking the Pool Party and Primrose Petals together and the Sycamore Street DSP from Sale-A-Bration is one of the best yet!
