Mojo 296

Monday, Monday, back again. How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was pretty good, I went into Manhattan yesterday and had brunch with my friend Kim at the great Mexican Restaurant called Molé. We had breakfast sandwiches that were delicious and they came with fries, who doesn’t love fries, especially seasoned ones! It’s rainy here this morning and is supposed to be all day but it’s still supposed to be in 70’s so not too bad.

Today’s post – Mojo Monday 296, a sketch from Julee Tilman…

Mojo296

I got up a little early this morning and decided to see how early morning creativity worked! The base of my card is Whisper White Card Stock. The background and the strip of paper across the lower half are from the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper Pack. A strip of Daffodil Delight and a strip of Island Indigo go down the left side. The stamped images are from the Secret Garden Stamp Set, stamped in Basic Gray on Melon Mambo, and cut out with the Secret Garden Framelits Dies. For the greeting I used the A Round Array Stamp Set and stamped it in Night of Navy. The 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch punches out the greeting and I backed it with a piece of Night of Navy punched out with the 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch. Some Brights Designer Buttons (Vintage) Finish off the card on the left. I really like the colors in the Gingham Garden DSP, don’t you? Thanks for coming by to see my Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge card, I appreciate your visit and hope that you have a great day! 🙂

    1. He he! It wasn’t too bad, 5:30. Love when I can get up and make a card, write the post and do it all before work! have a great day and I’ll see you later! 🙂

  1. Love this – Secret Garden goes so well with this DSP. A Secret Garden note to all – did you read the book Secret Garden as a child? I re-read the book about a year ago. It’s so beautiful, and as an adult I think I enjoyed and appreciated it even more.

    1. Thank you Wendie! They do go really well together! I didn’t read that book but will add it to my list. 🙂
