Hello, and how are we today? Did we all make it through Monday ok?! I was lucky enough to get through unscathed. It was pouring here this morning and then the rain stopped and it was just muggy and soup like. Not the best hair day! LOL! It’s nice and cool out this morning! My friend Cynthia asked me to post a picture of the venue that I saw the Pitbull concert at on Saturday so here you go…
Luckily our seats were far enough away to get a good shot of the stage with the water behind it! LOL!
Today I have my Design Team card for SUO Challenges. This time around the theme is weddings so I happily broke out my Best of Brides and Babies Stamp Set. The base of my card is Basic Gray Card Stock that I cut to 11″ x 3 3/4″. A piece of Basic Black is flagged on the bottom and goes down the middle. I used the Floral Frames Collection Framelits Dies to cut out the background image which is from the Daydream Medallions Stamp Set and is stamped in Smokey Slate. The main image is stamped in Basic Black and is mounted on Stampin’ Dimensionals. I haven’t made a paper bow in a while and I thought it would be the perfect addition to the top. I used Smokey Slate for the bow and adhered it with some Sticky Strip. I love the mix of grays and black the image cut out with the Floral Framelits makes a nice change.
