Ahh… Friday… finally! This week has been crazy busy so I’m so glad to get to the weekend! I plan on spending some quality time with my crafty goodness this weekend. It’s my therapy! Between work and lots to do after work I think I have gotten about 5 hours of sleep every night this week. I need a nap! LOL! How has everything been by you? I have nothing planned for the weekend so it should be a nice relaxing one. I’m having dinner with a friend this evening so that will be fun and a good way to start it off.

Today’s post is for Fab Friday. This time around we have a fun soothing color combo for you…
Nice soft colors and a neutral! I’m having so much fun playing with the new Thinlits and all of the elements that come with them. There are so many ways to customize them it’s almost unlimited what you can do. My card today starts off with a piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock that I cut out with the Circle Card Thinlits Die. I then used my Circles Collection Framelits to cut out the middle of the circle on the card and the piece of Pistachio Pudding that frames it on either side. All of the elements are from either the Circle Card or the Label Card Thinlits. I love the intricate detailed cuts that you get and who doesn’t like some arrows and chevrons! I suspended the xoxo on a piece of Calypso Coral Bakers Twine in the middle of the circle. The background for the inside is a piece of Very Vanilla that I stamped with the Off the Grid Stamp in Crisp Cantaloupe. It’s neat the way you can line up the stamp to make it cover a larger area (thanks Stamp-a-ma-jig). I really like the suspended element and the flip fold is fun!
