What a nice Friday that was. I got to go on a field trip from work 58 miles round trip and 2 1/2 hours out of the office! After work Anthony and Bill picked me up and we headed over to the Long Island Children’s Museum for the Satellite Lane Concert with Mr. Tim. They were great as usual and Anthony and Bill liked them too so they have two new fans! Below are two pictures, one of Andrew and I before the concert and the next one is of the group with Andrew singing lead vocals.
Afterwards, I came home and decided to make a quick card that has been floating around in my head for a while. It feels good to get them out and onto paper!
My card is simple and quite random which can be fun! The base is Crushed Curry Card Stock. The background has been sitting on my desk for a while just waiting to be used. It’s a piece of Whisper White that I stamped in Smoky Slate with the World Map Background Stamp. Some random images from the Perfect Pennants, Petal Parade and Happy Watercolor Stamp Sets are stamped in Gumball Green, Island Indigo and Crushed Curry. The greeting is from the Happy Day Stamp Set and is stamped in Gumball Green and I angled the right side before adhering it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A few random sequins from my stash complete the card and give it some sparkle. Like I said very random but I think all of the images work quite well together! How about you?! I also love when I get to use something that has been hanging out on my desk for a while! I hope that you enjoyed my random floating card and thank you very much for stopping by to see it.
