I don’t think words can describe how good it feels to be done with work for an entire week. Today was a great Friday too! I got to run some errands and see a friend on one of them. I had a nice chat with an old friend when I got home and then spent a little time in the craft space. I also had another pretty neat suggestion for the name of said craft space… the stamping galley. What do you think of that? I kind of like it! Still have some time to get your suggestions in! I’m in for a busy weekend, but it’s supposed to rain here on Sunday so that will definitely make getting my stuff done easier because I won’t want to be outside!
Last night I sat down and did my card for this week’s Pals Paper Arts Color challenge…
When I first looked at it I thought nautical but then I changed my mind! The base of the card is Daffodil Delight Card Stock. I stamped the flowers from the Hello Darling Stamp Set in Daffodil Delight on Whisper White and adhered the panel to the card base. The front panel is Night of Navy and I used the Window Frames Collection Framelits to cut out the center. Around the cutout I used the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack to pierce a nice border. My greeting is also from the Hello Darling Stamp Set and is heat embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Some Stampin’ Dimensionals hold the panel in place. I used some Basic Jewels Pearls in the flower centers and then some randomly scattered in the lower left corner complete the card. I am really enjoying the Hello Darling Stamp Set, the greeting is great and so are the images! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Pals Paper Arts color challenge.
