Ahh Wednesday… so good to see you again! We are at the halfway point thankfully! I got to run around the office today with the painter and the electrician, nope, nothing to do with my actual job but that’s the way it goes. They are both really nice people so it’s all good. I got a text from Kim around 3:00 asking me if I wanted to go over there for dinner, well of course I did! It was nice to have Brian, Kim, Heather and I all sitting around laughing! Those are some of the best nights! Dinner was great too, Chicken Enchiladas from scratch. Brian is a really good cook! I managed to get my card made for today’s post before I went over for dinner, love when it all just falls into place!
Speaking of today’s card it’s for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch…
A nice simple sketch and I was going to go for the circle but I decided that I would ink up a new stamp set instead. My card base is Wisteria Wonder Card Sock and the background is a piece of Whisper White. I stamped some of the images from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set in Pear Pizzaz on the background. My greeting is from the Simply Wonderful Stamp Set and is stamped in Wisteria Wonder and then the background is adhered to the base with SNAIL. A strip of So Saffron goes across the middle. I adhered two banners stamped with the Banner Banter Stamp Set, one in Pear Pizzaz and one in So Saffron, both punched out with the Banner Punch and adhered to the back of the So Saffron strip. My flower is from the Petal Potpourri Stamp Set and is stamped in Wisteria Wonder and So Saffron. I used the Flower MedallionPunch and the 1/2″ Circle punch to punch them out and adhered them to each other and the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tucked under the flower is a Subtles Designer Button with some “Vintage” Wisteria Wonder Baker’s Twine tied in a bow and adhered with a Glue Dot. Three sequins down the left side complete the card. Yes, more spring like colors to help chase away all of the cold! LOL! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge.
