Well, you will never guess what I get to do this morning?! When I get to work I can finally move my office!! The new one is all set to go and I will start moving my stuff back there as soon as I get into work this morning! Took long enough but will be worth the wait for the door alone! LOL! It got quite chilly here yesterday and we are to have a little snow this morning changing to rain later on. I ran out to Target last night around 9:30 and it was a balmy 22 degrees, that’s way too cold for me! Tonight I get to go and pick Andrew up from the airport! He is coming back from nice warm Florida just in time for the cold snap! He promised to bring the warm weather with him, he’d better! LOL! I’ll be glad to have him back though! ๐Ÿ™‚

My craftiness last night yielded my card for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch…

Mojo379

As soon as I saw the little square I knew that I wanted it to be and teeny envelope and I went from there. The base of the card is Real Red Card Stock and my background is a piece of Smoky Slate. I stamped the Dictionary Stamp in Smoky Slate for a little tone on tone texture. The first and second panels are both pieces of paper from the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack. The first one is backed with Real Red and the one with the ampersand with Basic Black. I adhered a piece of Real Red 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon around the back and then adhered it all to the card base with a mix of Fast Fuse and SNAIL. My little Vellum envelope is made with the Envelope Punch Board. I cut the Vellum to 3″ x 3″ and punched it at 1 1/2″ all the way around. To cover up the adhesive I punched out a piece of Red Glimmer Paper with the heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch pack and adhered it with a Stampin’ Dimensional. The tag is stamped with the One Tag Fits All Stamp Set and is heat embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I used the Note Tag Punch to punch it out and threaded a piece of White 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon through the hole that I made with the 1/8″ Circle Punch. Another piece of Red Glimmer Paper is cut out with one of the elements from the Circle Card Thinlits and also adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Three Sequins randomly adhered with Crystal Effects complete the card. I really do love the little envelope pocket for the greeting, it adds a fun little extra don’t you think?! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Good Morning Justin. What a super sweet Valentine card and a great way to start off Saleabration and the new Occasions catalogue.
The new blog is great, good colors, it flows nicely and my info is auto filled. So glad you’re getting moved in to your new “digs!”

    1. Hello Marty!
Thank you! We need a happy love card, more of them if you ask me! Glad you like the new blog look! I’m glad that the move at the office is done! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. LOVE this, Justin! (No pun intended, LOL!) I don’t know why I hesitated to order that gorgeous paper but it’s going on my order today!

  6. Hi Justin:

What amazes me most about your creations is that you combine so many products on a single card and they don’t look overdone. I agree with the ladies that the envelope is definitely the coup de gras of this particular card. How are you ever able to combine so many facets in your brain before assembling these mini pieces of art? I lack that ability, my style is pretty simple therefore, I am in awe of those that do have the capability to turn out such creations. The colors are so beautiful together but what makes this card so beautiful is the attention to detail. I love it.

Glad Andrew will be back at school soon. When does he graduate? When my daughter graduated from Hofstra Mrs. Anwar Sadat was the main speaker and she was amazing. In all our travels to check out colleges my daughter just fell in love with Hofstra. Their computer science department was the best that we saw. You are so lucky to live on Long Island. Everything is right at your finger tips. Have yourself a Tremendous Tuesday and enjoy your new office. Yeah! Hugs to you my friend! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Oh – forgot to tell you – I love the new format for your blog and I don’t have to put in my info every time. Yeah! The new blog is clean, easy to read and organized perfectly. Thanks for making that happen! XX

      1. Yay! Thanks Grace! I’m so glad to hear that auto fill is happening! I like the sleek look of it and there are so many other things that I can do with it when I have time to sit down and do it! LOL! ๐Ÿ™‚

    2. Hello Grace!
Thank you very much! Sometimes when I’m finished and I write the post and I see all of the stuff that I used I think oh no! LOL! Simple is good too! I like simple but sometimes there is just too much in my head!
Yes, don’t mention school to Andrew! LOL! This is his last Semester and then it’s time to go out in the real world! Uh oh! LOL! I do enjoy living here, it’s a little expensive but the close proximity to everything makes it worth it! I had a good day, hope the same is true for you! XOXO ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Yeah, my name and email are already there. No more filling it in. I did notice the new-ish layout. I love blue. Very nice. I hope your move went smoothly. I love organizing new stuff. I hope the snow doesn’t stick too much. To me, a half inch is as bad as two feet.
This card is great. The little envelope is my fave thing. I think it is so cute and perfect for Valentine’s Day. Thanks for sharing.
    ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Woo hoo! That’s great Nancy! The move went pretty well, good to do it early in the day! I still have some organizing to do but I did get rid of some stuff! I don’t enjoy the snow no matter the amount!
