So, I’m later that late this morning and I will show you a picture of what that is, no judging! LOL! It was an odd day here yesterday. I woke up to rain and that lasted until around noon. The sun then came out but it was pretty far from 80 degrees which is what they had promised. I did make the most of the day, I had lots of crafty time and I spent time doing something that has needed to be done… cleaning! Sandy stopped by for a little bit, love her visits! Then I got a text from my friend Marissa asking if Anthony, Bill and I wanted to go out. Sure… why not? We went to Houlihan’s and I had a drink, well it was more like three drinks in one and that was a poor decision! We left there and went to Croxley’s and I had a Whiskey Sour and we danced and all was good. There was a stop at Taco Bell on the way home, that’s never a good decision. I’m sure that you can imagine how my morning was and we’ll leave it at that! Here are Marissa and I, who just got a really nice haircut and then there is the drink.
The picture doesn’t do the drink justice, I should have had something next to it for scale! Never again! LOL!
Now on to the fun stuff, my card for this week’s Can You Case It color challenge…
The colors were actually my choice! The card base for today is old reliable Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. A piece of Sahara Sand is spattered with some Heidi Swapp Gold and Tinsel Color Shine and two strips of Stacked with Love Designer Washi Tape go across the middle before I adhered it to the base. I used the Papertrey Ink Monthly Moments – Slide Frame Die to cut out a piece of Gold Foil Sheet and adhered that to the card. My flowers and leaves are cut from Basic Black and Blushing Bride using the Ellen Hutson Bold Blooms Stand Alone Dies. The leaves are adhered with SNAIL and the flowers with little pieces of Foam Tape. Another piece of Blushing Bride is cut out with the Ellen Hutson Love Die and adhered to the card with Ranger Multi-Medium. The three hearts are more Gold Foil Sheet cut out with the Ellen Hutson Home and Hearth Dies and they too are adhered with Foam Tape. Finally some Hazel & Ruby The Makery Think Pink Sequins are adhered with Crystal Effects and complete the card. I love the Ellen Hutson Dies and the Color Shine Sprays! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Can You Case It color challenge! Thanks for stopping by, sorry I was late! Have yourselves a Good Sunday! 🙂

Love your card, Justin. Very snappy! Ah ..about last night .. (isn’t that a movie?) You probably would have been fine if you stayed away from Taco Bell! that’s hard to do even if you’re NOT drinking!
Thank you Bobbi! Yes, that was a movie! I do think that Taco Bell was the final straw! LOL! 🙂
Justin, I’m glad you’re feeling better! I loved your color picks… and I am so glad that the time CYCI was informative… I am really excited to join your first challenge as a participant, I wish you great success!!! Your card is amazing, as ever! Take care my friend… loves ya!!!
Thank you Eva! It was a very rough morning! I will be playing along with CYCI my friend and can’t wait for you to join us! Maybe you will be a guest designer?!?! Thank you, I couldn’t have done it without you! Love ya too! 🙂
Love the card. Blushing Bride always reminds me of baby girls. This is a nice adult use of it. I also like the layout and placement of your pieces. Enjoy your Sunday.
Glad you had such a good time last night!

I don’t know if the end was a good time but the getting there was! LOL!
Thank you! Have a super day my friend! 🙂

Thank you very much Charlene! 🙂
Justin, I love this card. I’ve been following you for awhile. I am a SU demo (hobby) and like your style. I am thrilled that you use products from other companies and show how they can be used with SU stuff. Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much Rachel! I’m happy to have you along! I love to mix all kinds of products together! There is way too much fun stuff out there! 🙂

Gorgeous, Sorry your having a rough morning, LOL two of my sons saw Kenny Chesny last night, came hone feeling the sane way you feel. Both are passed out on the couch,
Really a great card, love your play with the colors, I really like Ellen Hutson, she has such a great choice of items.
Thanks Linda! I have no one to blame for my rough morning but myself! LOL! Oh, I like Kenny Chesney, I saw him at Jones Beach one year, he’s good! I love the Ellen Hutson stuff, nice and different! Thank you! 🙂
OH my Justin:
I have Tylenol and Alkaselser if you need it! LOL I had to laugh at you because I remember those days! Luckily you didn’t have to get up early and take care of a couple of kids!
Interesting card today. I’m surprised you weren’t thinking “get well”. Tee Hee. Sorry but it’s funny when it’s someone else with the hangover. I know, I’m mean but so thankful those kinds of nights out are over for me. Take care and feel better my friend. No big hugs today, just little soft ones cause the big ones can hurt. XO
Yup, I was a poor decision maker last night! I was more concerned about my post than anything else! Sad huh?!
Thank you! Thankfully I made the card before I went out or I don’t think there would have been a card! It’s not mean at all, I deserve it because I know better! Thanks for the hugs, they always help! XOXO 🙂
What a FAB card! 🙂
Thanks so much Tina! 🙂
Beautiful card Justin!
Thank you Terri! 🙂
