Hi there! I’m super late today! I had a busy but awesome weekend so far! Yesterday I was in Manhattan with Michael for most of the day at The Ink Pad. We both worked on some projects and even got to meet a fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from Alexandria Virginia, Barbara Treese. She is up here on vacation and just happened to wander in to pick up some NY themed papers and embellishments to scrapbook her trip. It was very nice to get to chat with her. After we finished at The Ink Pad we headed over to Brian & Kim’s for a BBQ. Always good to see my peeps! Here is a picture of Me, Barbara and Michael…

Now for today’s card, it’s a simple one that was inspired by something that I saw on Pinterest. My base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the image from Lovely As a Tree in Ranger Archival Black Ink onto a piece of EK Success Wood Sheet. Next, I took a piece of Basic Black and die cut the Mama Elephant Fair Feather’s Creative Cuts twice from it. My greeting is from the Mama Elephant Fair Feathers Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder onto the die cut panel. Some foam tape on the back of the panel adheres it to the card. I like the way the trees peek through the feathers and the simplicity of the card.
