OSAT Blog Hop – Christmas in July

OSAT Blog Header

Hello everyone, happy Thursday to you! I am very late this morning, I had internet issues and then had to go and pick up Ken Oliver and take him to Scrap-A-Latte for the classes that he is teaching today! My apologies! Today I’m participating in the fifth blog hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. The focus this month is Christmas in July! If you have arrived here from James Weber’s blog, welcome! James is one talented guy, isn’t he?! I have one card for you today so let’s get to it!

I used some fun Simon Says Stamp goodies to make my shaker card! The base of the card is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and I covered the front with a piece of Kraft Card Stock. To make the shaker portion I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Frames Die from some more Neenah 110b and backed it with a piece of Window Sheet. Thin strips of Foam Tape goes around the edges, doubled up so that the shaker filling can really move. My snowflakes are cut from Neenah 80lb Card Stock using the Impression Obsession Small Snowflake Set twice. A few silver seed beads added and the frame is adhered to the card front. The poinsettia is cut from Cherry Cobbler with the Simon Says Stamp Poinsettia Parade Die and adhered together with Glue Dots, a Pearl is added to the middle and finishes the card!
