Yay! It’s Wednesday! I always love when we start the wind down into the weekend! Yesterday it was overcast and rained a little but was really humid all day. After the fun filled day at work was done I stopped by my parents to see little Daniel. We played with an old camera and took turns taking pictures of each other. Once he found out how to open the film door that had to be done each time too! He’s so funny. Michael came by around 5:00 and he and I both worked on some projects for a bit before heading out to dinner at Villa Montie. They have the best pizza I think I have ever had and Michael agreed! After that we went to the Broadway Mall to see Jurassic World. It was a really good movie with some amazing special effects! I have decided that I would like my own Velociraptor! LOL! What a fun backyard pet that would make! I also ran into one of my co-workers Mary. Love her!
I have a quick card for you today and it’s for this week’s Paper Players color challenge…
Love those colors!! I saw Jennifer McGuire stamp with White Pigment Ink and then stamp over it with regular ink and have wanted to give it a try, this color combo seemed perfect for that! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped my greeting from the Ellen Hutson Bold Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set in Smoky Slate. My panel is a piece of Sahara Sand, I stamped the flowers in Hero Arts Unicorn White Ink and then again in Sahara Sand on top of the white. The leaves are then stamped in Mint Macaroon, they are both from the Simon Says Stamp with W Plus 9 Many Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set. I backed it with a piece of Mint Macaroon and then adhered it to the card with SNAIL and Fun Foam. A very simple card but I love the look of the flowers, so cool!
