Paris!

Bonjour! I woke up in Paris this morning! 😀 We took the Eurostar from St. Pancras yesterday morning, a very nice smooth quick ride over to Paris. It took two hours and 15 minutes exactly. When we arrived we went straight to the hotel and dropped off our bags and then found the Metro and made our way over to the Eiffel Tower. Before heading up we stopped and had lunch at a café. It was nice to sit on the sidewalk and watch all of the bustle of the city.

The Eiffel Tower was great! You can go all the way to the top and that’s just what we did, 280 meters to be exact! You get a fantastic view of the entire city. I took a bunch of pictures to share with you!

  2. Hi Justin:

I never realized how vast a city Paris is! It looks huge in your beautiful photos. How exciting it must be to wake up in Paris and be able to breakfast at a sidewalk cafe. I loved every one of your Eiffel Tower photos. Just amazing. I am so grateful to you for sharing your vacation with us. Love ya, XO 🙂

  3. I thought it was amazing when my daughter & I visited in 2006, that there was a toilet up there. Did you happen to see the ashtrays with the Eiffel Tower design on the lid? We could see Sacre Coeur church from up there. I loved all the designs on the older buildings and the cobbled streets. And the Louvre, the inlaid floors and gilded ceilings. Hope you get to the muse D’Orsay.
It’s definitely a feast for the eyes!
