Freshly Made Sketches 208

I had a nice Wednesday, how about you? I worked on some projects in the morning and then went out to make an appointment to get an eye exam and some new contacts on Friday. I had to go over to Scrap-A Latte to cut for class and on my way over I stopped by Heather’s to catch up with her for a bit. I did manage to get most of the cutting done and I stayed in the store while Renee went and got her hair done. Angie stopped by and we had a nice long chat and not soon after she left it was time to lock up and head over to Hicksville to meet Danielle at SmashBurger for dinner. After we ate we stopped by the mall so that Danielle could get a few more things for her Halloween costume. She is going to be Wonder Woman and let me tell you Linda Carter would be jealous! LOL! Today I’m off to Manhattan to spend a little time at The Ink Pad with Barbara and Anna. From there I’m back out to the Island for tonight’s card class. Taylor is supposed to get me from the Babylon train station and then hang with me at class and drive me home. We’ll see how that goes!

I had picked up a few sets at the Mama Elephant event on Sunday and decided to use the Charmed set for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…

Freshly Made Sketches 208

My card base today is a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I adhered a thin strip of Neenah Desert Storm down the left side. All of the elements and greeting are from the Mama Elephant Charmed Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I used my Copics to color them in and they are all adhered to the card with Foam Tape. A few Pretty Pink Posh Ballerina and Sparkling Clear Sequins scattered about complete the card. I love the simplicity and bright but not overpowering colors! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge! Thank you very much for paying me a visit today! Have an interesting Thursday! πŸ™‚

  1. I was thinking, as I scrolled down . . . do I like that wreath or the fox better . . . hmmm, then the banner with double happy was the icing on the cake. Love that the best.

  2. Anything with a red fox or a butterfly is great in my book. I love that fox! We have resident red foxes on our property, and every so often, we get blessed with their presence! Such fun to see! Have a fantastic Thursday! Hugs, Nancy

    1. Thank you Nancy! The fox is neat, he looks so nice and cozy! It must be nice to see them in person! I had a great day and hope that you did too! Hugs to you! πŸ™‚

  3. Hello Justin! What a cute card! Love that fox!! I have to tell you how cute that pic of Winston is (from a few posts back)! Our little puppy is almost 8 months old now. Hard to keep up with her! πŸ˜‰ Even though I don’t comment very often, I still check on you and find your blog very inspirational!! I loved following you on your London trip too! And I’m hoping good things come your way soon—you are VERY talented and any company would be lucky to have you on their team!

I appreciate you checking and love reading your comments! London was great and that’s very nice of you to say! I’m sure that everything will work out! Have a great day! πŸ™‚
