Fab Friday 77

And the end to another week is upon us. Mine was a good one and I hope that yours was too! I stopped by Heather’s for breakfast yesterday morning with Brian before heading overΒ to Scrap-A-Latte. I watched the store for Renee while her and Angie did some “shopping”. I worked on some of my projects for this month’s card class and also updated the computer. From there I headed back home and went next door to my parent’s and played with Daniel for a while. He really is a smart little boy! I know I’m biased but you can have a conversation with him and he just loves to talk! He knows his colors already too! Little Genius! After we had dinner I came home and made a card and then headed back over to Heather’s for a bit. She’s going to Florida with her boyfriend on Saturday and won’t be back until Wednesday. I needed to get in my time before she goes! LOL! This morning I’m off to get a haircut and then I have some errands to run. What are you all up to today?

Not only is it Friday but it’s also a Fab Friday! This week we have some nice Fall colors for you…

Fab Fri 77 11-13-2015

I used that giving thanks die again, I love that die! The card base for today is Ivory 110lb Card Stock. I embossed a piece of Cajun Craze with the We R Memory Keepers Woodgrain Embossing Folder for my background. Next we have a piece of Blackberry Bliss that is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and SNAIL. On top of that is another piece of Ivory 110lb that I cut out with the Simon Says Stamp Giving Thanks Card Die. The image is from the Hero Arts Fall Trees Stamp Layering Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the tree in Soft Suede and the leaves in Cajun Craze, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss. The card is then adhered with some more Fun Foam and SNAIL. A few Pretty Pink Posh Bronze Sequins complete the card. A simple and colorful Fall thank you card! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for our Fab Friday color challenge! Hop on over to the blog and take a peek at what the rest of the Designer’s have made! Thank you very much for your visit today! I love having you stop by and share a little bit of my! Now go and have a fabulous Friday! πŸ™‚

  1. Justin,
Love, Love, Love this card!! The colors on the tree are just perfect fall colors. And of course, I love the Giving Thanks die.

  2. Hi Justin:

What a great color combo today. The card couldn’t be any more perfect for this time of year and you just know we all love that die. The wood grain EF is one of my all time favorites and I’ve found you can use that EF for any occasion. Nice when one die is so versatile for sure.

The sun is shining but most of the trees are bare. According to the weather people this afternoon will be rainy and chilly. Fitting for our “housework” day. I don’t know how many good weather days we will have before the snow flies so we don’t want to waste a nice day doing housework.

Have fun today, after all isn’t Friday still your favorite day of the week or not? Love and hugs to you my friend. XO πŸ™‚ By the way, when are you heading here to the North country?

    1. Hello Grace!
Thanks! The colors are definitely spot of for the season and the die is just neat! You know how I love the woodgrain EF! LOL!
It’s the same here, sun shining on the naked tree branches. It was really windy here on Saturday, I got blown around the city! I think that you can save “housework” days for the snowy times! Maybe we won’t get any snow!!
Yes, Friday is still my favorite day of the week! Love to you! Hope you are over your cold! Hmm… that a good question about heading up to the north country, I’ll have to think about that! Love to you! XOXO πŸ™‚
