Concord & 9th at The Ink Pad

What a night I had! Yesterday I dropped the Chrysler off at the store for Renee and Brian picked me up and dropped me off at Heather’s. I went with her to get her haircut and see if I could get mine cut too. I got an appointment at 2:30, in the mean time I ran and got us lunch. Heather dropped me off at my house and I went and ate lunch at my parent’s so I could see Daniel for a bit. After that I cut for class and then went and got my haircut, completely new and funky, I needed a change! Back home to get my stuff together and head for the train. When I got to The Ink Pad Anna told me that channel 4 news was at the store and that she would be on the 5:00 news! She’s a little celebrity now! I helped Anna out with some stuff at the store and then got ready for class. We had a great time as always and Jamey even brought a friend that was a first timer! When I went to lock up the store the gate wouldn’t come down. I tried all sorts of things and couldn’t get it to work. I called Anna and her brother-in-law came by and had to pull it down. In the mean time Renee called to tell me that the car overheated and all of the antifreeze leaked out when she got home. By the time I got to Penn to get the train it was 10:45. So I’m here at the Scrap-A-Latte this morning and will have to go wth dad later to see what’s up with the car. Sigh… how’s that for a Friday! šŸ™

So I had no time to make a card and didn’t have an extra, but I do have the cards from class! We made four cards, a birthday, friendship, just because and a thank you. All of the stamps are Concord & 9th, I have listed the sets below and all of the supplies used to make them. I hope that you like the cards as much as the class did! Thank you so much for sharing in another one of my fun filled days! LOL! Have a spectacular Saturday! šŸ™‚

  1. Justin,
So sorry for your troubles last night. Hopefully, today will go a little better.
I wish I had caught the 5 o’clock news with your friend Anna & the Ink Pad.
On a brighter note, these cards are FABULOUS!! I love every single one of them. The balloons in the shaker card are so cool. And the sequins on the last card are perfect. Of course, I love the birds! And the sentiment that goes with them. The THX card is a perfect simple Thank You card.
    Have a good day!

    1. Hi Gerri!
Yes, things happen, just was a lot at once! Yesterday was pretty good!
It was pretty cool that Anna was on the news!
SO happy that you like the cards! Love the Concord & 9th stamps! I hope that you had a good Saturday! šŸ™‚

  2. Oh Justin! When things go bad they really go bad. Doesn’t seem like there is any in between at all. Did you figure out why the gate wouldn’t go down because I’m sure Anna won’t be able to reach it to pull it down? Then having to deal with the car is such a bummer. At least you got to see Daniel, which had to be good for a smile and you did have a great class so it wasn’t 24 hours of total bad.

The cards look like they were fun to make and I bet the class participants loved making the shaker card! So, did you get to make the news too as one of Anna’s star teachers? Free publicity is always a good thing. If the shop keeps getting busier she may need to move to a larger location. That’s the kind of problem all small business owners want.

Hopefully your Saturday will be better than Friday was. Sounds like you need a good day! Love and hugs to you my friend. XXOO šŸ™‚

    1. Yes Grace, things do really go all at once! I don’t think that have still figured out what is wrong with the gate, they have someone that can come and help put it up and down, they will find out on Monday what’s going on. The car, I guess it’s sad that it’s leaving! LOL! And Daniel always brightens the day and class was lots of fun! It all can’t be bad!
The cards were fun and they loved all of them! I missed the news by about 30 minutes! Next time! I hope that she gets lots of business from the mention!
Saturday was pretty good and I just took it easy last night. Love and hugs to you! XOXO šŸ™‚
