Simple Lime Butterfly Thanks

Hello there! I hope that you are enjoying your weekend! I had a crafty day yesterday. I got a bunch of projects finished for the week ahead and also overdosed on HGTV! I FaceTimed with Andrea for a bit and had dinner with my parents, Chinese… Yum! Not much else went on and that’s not a bad thing! This morning I have to take a table and chairs over to Heather’s and then we are going to head into Manhattan to meet up with my friends Kim and Maggie for breakfast. After that a quick stop at The Ink Pad before heading back out the Island. Fingers crossed for no traffic! LOL!

As promised I have randomly selected a winner from the comments on Friday’s post! Congratulationsย Linda Bostedt! You will be receiving The Simon Says Stamp Scribble Heart and Arrow Dies! Clock on the contact me and send me your address and I’ll get them right out to you!

Today’s card is a simple thank you that took no time at all to put together! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I flicked some Heidi Swapp Citron Color Shine on the front and picked out my patterned paper while it dried. The papers are from the Heidi Swapp September Skies 6×6 Paper Pad. A strip is adhered across the the middle, another square is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and SNAIL and finally a piece is cut out with the Simon Says Stamp Petite Butterflies Craft Dies and adhered to the square with Scor-Tape. My greeting is from the Simon Says Stamp Butterfly Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Versa-Fine Onyx Black Ink. I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold, Raspberry and Marigold Sequins from the top left to bottom right to give the card a little movement. I love the simplicity of the card and the bright pop of the butterfly against the floral pattern! I hope that you enjoyed today’s simple card! Thank you for your continued visits and I wish you all a very simple Sunday! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Congratulations Linda!!! I hope you enjoy your prize and have fun with it. Thank you Justin for the give away. It makes things exciting. LOL Anywhoooooo – love the card today. A lot of white space really does make the eye focus on that gorgeous DSP and butterfly. Very, very nice.

So now in addition to all your other talents, you have become a furniture delivery guy! Pretty cool if you ask me. I’m sure Heather appreciates it. I can’t imagine going all the way into Manhattan just to have breakfast. It seems like it must take at least an hour from the island into the City. By the time I got there I would be so hungry…………..oops, I drove 45 minutes to the train station and then road the train over an hour and then took a 20 minute cab ride to have breakfast there and it was worth every minute! I think I’ll just shut my big mouth. LOL

Have yourself a Special kind of Sunday! We are having guests for dinner so I made a lasagna and an apple pie for dessert. Stop by and share some if you want. Love and hugs for a very special guy. XO ๐Ÿ™‚

LOL! Yes, I have done furniture delivery before and I’m getting good at it! It actually only took about 40 minutes to get into the city so it wasn’t too bad, the search for parking was though! Yes, you did come a little bit further than me and it was definitely worth every minute for me too!
I really enjoyed my Sunday! I hope that you had a nice time with your guests! Oh how I would have loved some of the lasagna and apple pie!! Love you my friend! XOXO ๐Ÿ™‚
