Paper Players 288

Sometimes the week just goes way too fast! I was up until around 2:30am last night which resulted in me getting up at 9:30, way too late! LOL! I have a little project that I’m researching and hopefully everything will go well and I’ll be able to share what I’m up to soon. I got to speak to Michael for a while today, always good to catch up! I did get to go over to my parent’s to see Daniel and Erika for a bit before I had to go and pick up Bill and take him back over to Deer Park to pick up Anthony’s van. They fixed it and all is working perfectly again. I went back over to my parent’s house for dinner, got to see my brother for a bit too. When I got back to my house I crafted for a little while and then binge watched Fixer Upper on HGTV, love what they do with houses! I’m off to spend the day with my friend Sue today, we’ll get some Etsy stuff done and hopefully craft a bit too!

The little card that I have to share with you today is for this week’s Paper Players challenge…

Paper Players #288

My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I took some paper from the Authentique Seaside 6×6 Collection and adhered it to a piece of Solar White 80lb. That is then adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I cut the top of a piece of Basic Gray with the Simon Says Stamp Border Waves Dies and then heat embossed my sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Sail Away Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. It’s adhered to the card with Foam Tape and E-Z Runner. The anchor and sailboat are from the same set. The sailboat is stamped in Hero Arts Pool to Navy Ombre Ink and the Anchor in Soft Granite to Black Ombre Ink. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out and the are both adhered to the card with Foam Tape. I guess I’m dreaming of a little beach getaway! Love that Ombre Ink, especially the Pool to Navy! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Paper Players sketch challenge! Thank you so much for visiting today! Have an awesome Thursday! 🙂

  1. Good Morning Justin.

Really love this card and the paper combinations you used. Glad you had such a great day yesterday.

I’m having problems with Word Press. For some reason it’s not automatically bringing the blogs I subscribe to into my mailbox every day. If I try to resubscribe to a blog it tells me that I have requested not to receive any blogs. That is nonsense. So, I’m trying to figure out what to do since Word Press management page sucks, excuse the language please. Hope you have a Terrific Thursday. Mine obviously hasn’t started well.

    1. Hi Grace!
Thanks! I try to always have a good day!
Oh no! I have never seen the WordPress management page! LOL! I’ll have to take a look and see if I can figure out what’s going on! We can’t have that! We’ll make sure that you have a better day! XOXO 🙂

  9. OMGosh Justin – Fixer Upper is my favourite show! I would never leave the house again if I had HGTV! Great card for today, I love the waves and the shaded look on the sail boat! It’s finally Friday, we’re off to the big city tomorrow for a corporate event at an AFL game (Aussie Rules Football), I’m not a huge footy fan, but there’ll be fancy food, so that’s always a bonus! Happy weekend to you 😉 xox
