Mojo Monday 446

I had a nice relaxing day yesterday! It felt good to do not too much! I did get my laundry done and managed to get a card made too. Other than that I spent some time watching YouTube and some TV too. It rained all day so it made you not want to do much. I think that it’s supposed to be rainy all week. Hopefully Spring will make a comeback soon! I miss it! Today I have a bunch of projetcs to get through and some other things to do around the house! Today will not be a lazy day! πŸ˜€

It’s Monday and that means that it’s time for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch…

Today’s card has lots of gold on it! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the background I heat embossed the Hero Arts Confetti Bold Prints with some Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder onto a piece of Desert Storm 80lb and adhered that to the card with E-Z Runner. My greeting, from the Concord & 9th Being Classy Photopolymer Stamp Set, is heat embossed in more Gold onto a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor Card. I then used my Mini Ink Blending Tool and some Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink to add color to the paper blending it to an Ombre look. Along the bottom I adhered a piece of Gold Mirror Card Stock that used the Concord & 9th Bags and Tags Die along the bottom of. The panel is then adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. MyΒ flowers are from the Concord & 9th Wildflower Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Onyx Black onto another piece of Watercolor Card. I used my Gansai Tambi Watercolors to color them in and was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t cover up any of the black ink! They are cut out with my Scissors and adhered to the card with Foam Tape. A little sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins and the card is finished! I love the sentiment panel with the ink blending and the coloring on the flowers is pretty neat! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! 1. Whoa Justin! You hand cut all those flowers out? You have more patience then I do my friend! I love a nice shiny gold so any card that uses it is great to me. LOL

Glad you are feeling better, those headaches are so debilitating! Misty raining here today and I’m hoping for some really steady downpours. Our area is so dry and I get concerned about wild fires. I had a quiet day yesterday so I need to get my butt in gear and accomplish a few things today. You have yourself a Marvelous Monday my friend. Love and hugs, XXOO πŸ™‚

    1. Yes Grace! I still like to fussy cut!! The gold card stock is my favorite!
Yes, I’m happy to be feeling better! It’s raining here, the misty stuff too. I don’t know if I’m in the mood for a downpour, it’s hard to get Winston to go out in those! LOL! You need the rain so yes, a downpour would work for you! I have so much to do too and have slept in again! Grr! Hope your day was sweet! Love and hugs to you! XOXO πŸ™‚

  2. Love it! I really hate to fussy cut, I’m too critical, I never like the finished piece. Lazy sunday, yep, still cold and rainy.Oh well it beats snow. LOL Mojo always finds me at 8pm. No ambition all day then after browsing Pinterest I was inspired. Ifinally played with Picture Perfect. what a beautiful stamp see. 4 cards made, just need to play with roses next

    1. LOL! Thanks Linda! I think that my OCD really helps with the fussy cutting! Anything beats snow for sure! What’s a little rain?! I too get like that, the Mojo kicks in late sometime but you just have to roll with it! I like the Picture Perfect set but not as much as the ones from Hero and Altenew. Have a crafty day my friend! πŸ™‚
