SIP Challenge 47 – One Element Wonder!

Hey there! It was another nice day here, sunny and in the 70’s! YAY! I was at Scrap-A-Latte all day. I worked on some things and spoke to my cousins in England, Andrea and Michael. Miriam stopped by too! When I got home I had some dinner at my Parent’s. I came over to my house and started to work on my card for today. I did stop to run a few errands and then finished it when I got back. I flipped on the TV and Shooter was on so I watched the end of that. Today I need to get a lot of things finished up! A lot of stuff needs to happen in the next few days!

Well, it’s Tuesday and we have a new Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge for you…

SIP One Element Wonder 47 800

One Element Wonder! Just use one main element on your card! I used some goodies that I found at Scrap-A-Latte yesterday to create my card! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, I covered the front with a piece of Black 110lb. My background piece of paper is from the Simple Stories Let’s Party 6×6 Paper Pad. I used a frame from the same collection and added some Acetate and a double layer of Foam Tape behind it . Some Sequins and Seed Beads are sprinkled on the card and the frame is adhered over it to make my shaker. All that was left to do was add some of the Enamel Dots, also from the Let’s Party Collection, and the card is finished! Talk about a super simple shaker card and I love the paper, oh, and the frame is so cool! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! You have to go over to the BLOG and see what the rest of the super talented Design Team has come up with to inspire you and don’t forget to add your card to the gallery to share with all of us! Thank you so much for coming by today! Have an awesome Tuesday! πŸ™‚

  1. Love it! Bright, shiny, colorful and a shaker to boot. I’m ashamed to say I still haven’t tried to make a shaker card. In fact it seems I haven’t made any cards for a while. I think I have 6 paper pumpkin kits still waiting for me to open. I’ve been to busy finishing up quilts and now I’m leaving Thursday for 12 days. Will I ever get to sit and make cards again? LOL

So glad you had a good weather day and fun at Scrap A Latte yesterday. It was unbelievably windy here. It is supposed to be sunny and warm today which would make for a nice change. Lots to do today so I’m not sure how much time I will have to enjoy it. You have yourself a Tantalizing Tuesday my friend. Love and hugs from the mid coast. XXOO πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Grace! I can’t believe that you still haven’t made a shaker!! For shame! LOL! I have a bunch of Paper Pumpkin Kits waiting for me too. I think that I’m going to stop getting them, I never get to make them. Yes, you will make cards again, when you get back!
It was really windy here too! But nice and sunny! I hope that you had nice weather and got all of your stuff done! Love and hugs to you! XOXO πŸ™‚

  2. Justin, this is such a bright, fun birthday card. I love shaker cards and this one is so cute I think I’ll CASE it for my grandson’s 8th grade moving up card by using “Congrats” instead of Happy Birthday. Can’t believe he will be a freshman in the fall. Have a great day.

    1. Thank you HJ! Shakers are definitely my favorite! It would make a great card for a kid for sure! They do grow up way too fast!! Hope you had an excellent day! πŸ™‚

  3. Cute vibrant shaker card! Glad you have some nice weather. I am back to damp cold rain. LOL

    1. Thank you Linda! Yes, I’m very happy about the weather! Aww, you will have sun again before you know it! πŸ™‚
