Paper Players 300!

I am one tired guy! LOL! Super busy day at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store! Three orders arrived and Renee had some computer issues. My friend Sue came up for a little bit to help, she’s so good to me! It’s her Birthday today!! Happy Birthday Sue!! She said that she may stop by the store later on today! I hope that she does! I have a very special card that I made just for her! We had a couple new customers, that’s my favorite part! Getting to help the customers and share my love of creating! Sounds corny but it’s true! When I got home I had some dinner at my parent’s and then tried to get some things accomplished around the house but instead I retreated to the Stampin’ Galley and crafted for a few hours while chatting with my friend Eva! Felt good to sit in my little room and create! TonightΒ I have the Intro to Altenew Class, can’t wait to make some cards with my peeps!

Today I’m playing along with the Paper Players for their 300th Challenge! The theme is Celebration, how appropriate…

Paper Players #300

I dusted off an oldie but a goodie to make today’s card! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I took a piece of Basic Gray and heat embossed my fireworks from The Ton’s Pyrotechnics Photopolymer Stamp Set in Ranger Silver Pearl and Gold Tinsel and WOW! Spring Breeze Glitter Embossing Powders. My frame is cut from a piece of Gold Mirror Card using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frames. I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles to cut out a piece of Acetate and adhered that to the back of the frame with Scor-Tape. A layer of Foam Tape is added and some Gold Chunky Glitter and Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Flat Mix is sprinkled in the card. I adhered the window part to the card and then used the Essentials by Ellen Zipper Panel Dies to cut out the word Celebrate from some more Gold Mirror Card. That is adhered to the window with Elmer’s Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive and the card is done! I wish you could see the card in person because the pictures don’t do it justice! The way the fireworks sparkle when you move it back and forth in the light is amazing! I hope that you enjoyed my card for the Paper Players 300th Challenge! Thank you, as always, for stopping by. You guys make my days amazing! Have a tantalizing Thursday! πŸ™‚

  1. Wow!! What a wonderful celebration card. Just when I think you can’t top a card, you do!! I can’t imagine how beautiful it is in person. It sparkles from every angle in the picture. I love the different colors and all the bling! So, so pretty and so outside the box for me. Have a great day with your much anticipated class.

    1. Thank you HJ! It’s so annoying that it’s so hard to take a picture of some cards! LOL! It really does look neat in person! So glad that you liked it! Have a super day! πŸ™‚

  2. Wow is right! You should mass produce and sell this card, I love it! The close up picture does do it justice, but I’m sure it must be even more dramatic in person. Once again, what a spectacular card!

    1. Thank you very much Karen! It does look cool when you move it, like the fireworks are exploding! So happy that you enjoyed it! πŸ™‚

  3. Hey there Justin!

I’m getting a late start this morning because me and the hubs had some errands to run. The first photo doesn’t do justice to the card but the second one does. So glad you took the time to do the second photo. I have that pyrotechnics set and am using the heck out of it. I love fireworks shows and just mailed out some fourth of July ones I made for family. Your use of the gold mirror card stock was absolutely perfect! Wish I had thought of that. All in all this is truly a card to celebrate in and of itself. Fantastic job!

It’s going to be hot again today – UGH! Yes, I remember winter and I love it as do most people in Maine that live north of Portland. I’d rather run the furnace than the air conditioners! LOL I so wish I lived close enough to take your classes. I’m sure they are tons of fun. You have yourself a Tantalizing Thursday my friend. Can’t wait for you to share the cards you make in class. Love & Hugs, XXOO πŸ™‚

    1. Hello Grace!
I got a late start the other day, woke up 9:00! LOL! Oops! The second photo doesn’t do the card justice either, I should have done a little video! I do love that set! You know how I love to try and use that Gold Mirror Card! Thank you so much!
Sorry about the heat! But I do really enjoy it! And when you are in the car with the top down, the wind feels so nice! I know you like your winter, but lets enjoy the summer for now! Oh, I wished that you lived closer too! Maybe one day I will have a roving craft truck and give classes all over! I hope that you enjoyed your day! Mine was good! Love and hugs! XOXO
