Stamp, Ink, Paper Store June Class Cards!

Sunday… I have to say the day now that I’m at the store 7 days a week the days just run into one another! LOL! Yesterday we had more gorgeous weather! Renee had a crop at the store so I got to chat with all the ladies! I helped Edna use her new Altenew stamps and inks, she added some flowers to a scrapbook page and they looked great! Renee brought in the delicious bagels from Miller Place and I had one for breakfast and another one for lunch! Around 4:00 I got a very nice surprise! Andrew stopped by! It was so good to see him! We chatted for a while and I showed him my part of the store. We both headed out around 5:30, Mum had text me to ask me what I wanted from the Chinese food place for dinner and I text her when I left so they could go and get it. We had dinner and Taylor and Kiera stopped by. Afterwards I helped my Dad with the retractable awning that they have on the front of the house and then ran a few errands. When I got back home I crafted for a bit and then watched a little TV. Felt so good to sit on the couch for a bit! Toady it’s just me and Angie at the store, Renee will be out East with her family celebrating her Birthday a little early! Oh, no news from on the baby front, but I’ll keep you posted! How is your weekend going?

Today I finally remembered that I hadn’t shared the cards from the June Stamp, Ink, Paper Card Class! So that’s what I have for you today! They all use stamps and dies from the latest Lawn Fawn release. 24 people made 4 cards each! That’s a lot of cutting and I couldn’t have done it without a little help from Sue and Brian!! The mermaid one is a slider and the smoothie one is the shaker! I think that the smoothie one was the favorite! I hope that you enjoy the cards as much as the class did! Hopefully one day I might get to see some of you at Card Class! Thank you for sharing in my Sunday! Have an awesome day everyone! 🙂

  1. Hi Justin:

Those cards are way too neat. I love the saying on the Dad card and yes, the smoothie card would be my favorite also. The strange thing is that each of these cards would fit so perfectly with some of my family members! That class must have taken hours! Also, 4 cards is a lot to make in one sitting in a class. We never got to make more than 3 and mostly it was 2 cards. You are not only a great instructor but a generous one as well.

Hadn’t heard about Andrew in a while so it’s nice to know that he is still around and doing well. Waiting patiently for the new arrival so we can all ooooh and ahhhh over some photos. Busy day today – I have the hubs following a list of “to-do’s” so I better get busy and do my part! LOL Your have yourself a Sensational Sunday my friend. Love and Hugs, XXOO 🙂

    1. Hello Grace!
Thank you! I thought it was a good mix of cards! Yes, the class took three hours! I love to watch them all make them! WOW! My people don’t know how good they have it! LOL!
Yes, Andrew is well! He works at a bank now and has a really nice girlfriend! I too am waiting patiently for the new addition! Hope that you get all of your to do’s done! Enjoy your day! Love an hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

  2. Justin, these are great cards. I think the smoothie one is my favorite, but all are very fun. Question: How did you cut the curvy line on the slider card? I don’t know what I have in my “tool box” that would make a smooth, curvy line. You with helpers did have a lot of cutting to do to makes these cards for 24 people. I go to a card class where we make 3 cards of 4 designs to come home with 12 cards in 3 hours. Most everything is cut for us, but we get to color parts or dry or wet emboss parts. I don’t think ours are as creative as yours. It’s interesting to find our how other instructors manage their classes.
I’m sure everyone in your family is anxious for the new baby to arrive, as are all of in your fan club!! Take care. I hope you can get some rest today.

    1. Thank you Gerri! The smoothie is cool and the shaker is usually the favorite! The curvy line in the slider is a die from Lawn Fawn called Slide on Over! There was a ton of cutting to do but I always do a few extra just in case because once I’m finished I don’t want to do it agin! LOL! I like the four cards, they took them three hours to make. I have been to classes in the past like the one that you attend. I haven’t heard anything else about the new arrival but I will keep you all posted! 🙂

  3. That’s really great you are working in the shop, even if it is seven days a week, and sure your classes are very popular. These cards are cute no wonder everyone had a fun time. I love the mermaid slider one. How was your Chinese?
I’m getting myself back on track and been with parents. I still remember what you said that can do anything put mind too which I keep telling myself! ??
Your new nephew/niece is obviously very comfortable and not in a rush to make their awaited arrival! xo

    1. I am definitely having a lot of fun in the shop and I love teaching classes! The mermaid slider was my favorite too! My Chinese was delicious!
Yes, we can do anything that we put our mind too! Look at me! I think you are right about the baby, no hurry to come out! LOL! Hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

    1. Thank you Anna! Yes, I do have some elves but I need more! LOL! You know how that goes! 🙂

  4. really cute cards, very detailed for a class.. Your students are lucky. Yep, running a business is hard work, my step dad had a hobby shop, loved every minute of it but 7 days straight is a lot. Hads an awesme weekend, mty daughter has been home and that makes everythng awesome. We spent today at a crop, not a lot of photos done but we had fun. Have painters coming in this week. We are frantically moving stuff, taking down blinds. draps ictures etc and putting stuff everywhere
It will be great when its done but ow its a nightmare here Take care

    1. Thank you Linda! Yes they are not easy ones that’s for sure! I’m lucky to have the people take the class! The store is a lot of work for sure but it’s so much fun!! I know you love when your daughter is there!! So nice that you guys scrap together! I absolutely hate painting and getting ready for it is definitely not fun at all! I wish you luck! 🙂
