Yes, it’s the weekend! The weather here has been just amazing the past few days! The rides home from the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store have been heavenly with the top down. We had a busy day at the store yesterday. Renee had her Kids class and Nick and her daughter Krysta came to help! Her kids are the nicest sweetest people! My Mum and Dad stopped by too. Dad fixed the lock on the front door, he does love when he can fix things and let me tell you, he can fix anything! I snuck out a little early and had dinner with my Parent’s. When I got home I finished my card for today and then ran a few errands. Today there is a crop so I get to see my ladies! We always have a good laugh!

Yes, I saw the feathers and had to use feathers! LOL! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used my MISTI to stamp the flower outline from the Altenew Beautiful Day Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versa-Mark and then Heat Embossed it in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. I did the same with a piece of Lemon Lime and a piece of Tropical Sea. To cut out my feathers I decided where I wanted them to go over the flower on the white and then used the Spellbinders Feather Shapeabilities. They are adhered over the white flower with 3D Foam Squares. My greeting is from the Altenew Sentiments & Quotes Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Gold onto a piece of 48lb Vellum. I used Multi-Matte Medium and Kool-Tak Clear Foam Tape to adhere it to the card. Just for a little more sparkle I added a few Hazel and Ruby The Makery Green with Envy and Pretty Pink Posh Metallic Green and Gold Sequins! I love the way the card turned out, especially the green and teal feathers over the white flower! And yes, I am completely obsessed with the Sentiments & Quotes Set!
