Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Celebrations!

WCMC&9 Header

Yes, it’s me again! Back for my second post for today! It’s a little overcast here in NY this morning, I hope that it doesn’t rain, I’m off to Manhattan for the day! I really miss going into the city on a regular basis! I’ll have to make sure that I get my fill while I’m in today! The reason that I have two posts today is because I’m on an superΒ new Design Team over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! It has been created to celebrate the awesomeness that is Concord & 9th! Over the past year they have become one of my favorite companies, making some really coolΒ and different stamps and dies! So I’m honored to be with such a talented group of artists using awesome products!

For our first challenge we are having a Celebration

Challenge 1 - Celebrations

Who doesn’t like to celebrate?! I used one of my favorite sets, the Happy Day Stamps and Coordinating Dies! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the background I used a piece of Ice Gold Curious Metallic. To create my cake I heat embossed the image from the Happy Day Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Champagne Curious Metallic and colored in some of the flowers, icing and cake plate with my Prismacolor Colored Pencils. It is then die cut with the Coordinating Dies and adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. My greeting is die cut from Gold Mirror Card using another die from the set and adhered to the card with Multi-Matte Medium. For a little extra sparkle I added some Pretty Pink Posh Gold, Lime Sorbet, Pansy Purple and Lavender Moon Sequins! I have created some other cards with that cake but I really love the gold embossing and colored pencils on that metallic card stock! I hope that you enjoyed my first Design Team card for the Where Creativity Meets Concord and 9th Celebration Challenge! Make sure that you go over to the BLOG and see what my incredibly talented teammates have come up with to inspire you! We hope that you share your card in the gallery with us, we can’t wait to see what you create! Thank you so much for coming by again today! Enjoy the rest of your Friday! πŸ™‚
