It was chilly and rainy here for most of the day yesterday. I was glad to be at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store, Renee had her no-frills crop! I had a little mini Card Class with Elyse, Nancy and Barbara and that was a lot of fun! A few orders had to be entered into the system since the register was down for most of the day yesterday. After work I had some Chinese food for dinner with my Parents. When I got home I made the mistake of turning on the TV and got sucked into Gods of Egypt. It was actually a pretty good movie! Today I want to get my newsletter done and then I need to clean up the house a bit when I get home! Fun Sunday stuff!
I had started working on a collage card at some point last night and then decided that I didn’t like it! So I made this one instead! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb and I covered the front in a piece of Lawn Fawn Bluejay that I cut out with the largest Stitched Rectangles Stackables Lawn Cuts. The Snowflakes are cut from Galvanized Curious Metallic using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflakes Lawn Cuts. I adhered them from upper left to lower Right with Multi-Matte Medium. A circle is cut out from some 48lb Vellum with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Circles Stackables. I heat embossed the greeting from the Lawn Fawn Love You a Latte Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder. The coffee cup is from the same set and I used Copics to color it in and the Coordinating Dies to cut it out. It’s adhered to the card with Foam Tape. A large snowflake is adhered to the back of the Vellum and then the circle is adhered to the card with more Foam Tape. For a healthy dose of Sparkle I added Little Thing by Lucy Nautical Sparkle Sequin Mix and a few Rhinestones. You know how I love a non-traditional Holiday card and this one definitely fits the bill!
