Fab Friday 100

I enjoyed my day in Manhattan yesterday as I always do! The train was late as it usually is but I got to read some of my book on the way in and enjoyed my time with Ella. I also wandered around a little before heading back out to the Island. Heather arrived in Florida with her luggage which she was quite happy about. Whenever she flies Delta they inevitably misplace it! I had dinner with my Parents and Taylor and then Taylor and I ran a few errands. I also got to spend a little time in the Stampin’ Galley and make my card for today! I miss the Stampin’ Galley! Today I’ll be back at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store, lots to do! ๐Ÿ˜€

To finish off this week we have a new Fab Friday Challenge for you…

fab-fri-100-11-11-2016

I went with a nice simple almost one layer card! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. All of my images and greeting are from the Concord & 9th Love You, Mean It Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the circles twice in Versa-Mark onto a piece of Solar White 80lb and heat embossed them in Gold Embossing Powder. The rest of the images are stamped in Hero Arts Grape Juice, Butter Bar and Mint Julepย with theย greeting stamped in Grape Juice. I adhered the panel to the card with E-Z Runner and Fun Foam and added some Gold Seed Beads and Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins to the card to finish it off! I love the simplicity of the card, the greeting is wonderful and I always love when I can use just one Stamp Set! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Color Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you so much for coming by today! Have a fabulous Friday! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Justin,
LOVE this card!!! The embossed gold circles are perfectly placed with the sequins and the seed beads. I don’t know how you can always put the perfect elements together. Just talent I suppose. Beautiful!!

    1. Hi Gerri!
Thank you! I like that stamp set, simple and some really good images for making a little bundle of flowers! You are too kind and I appreciate it! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Nice CAS card Justin! I really like that bouquet set and the way you have shaped it. I thought you used your mini Misti for placement but evidently your eye for placement didn’t require it. Also, using a circle die repeatedly to make a wreath is fabulous……….I mean really, who’d a thunk! I think anyone would be so delighted to receive this card and, by the way, I love the colors you chose and the way Hero Arts names their colors. With names like that there is no guessing as to what you are going to have.

So glad you enjoyed Manhattan yesterday It was sunny but a bit chilly here. Today is sunny again but boy, the wind is blowing to beat the band and I have to go do some shopping which means my hair will look like I put it in a beater by the time I get to any of the stores I plan on going to. The clerks will think “where did that old bat fly in from”! LOL You have yourself a fantastic Friday my friend and enjoy every minute at the shop! Love and hugs, XXOO ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thank you Grace! It’s a nice fun simple set! Nope, I just stamped and went with it! LOL! The wreath looks better stamped multiple times, gives it that messy thread look! I like the Hero Arts names for their colors too!
Manhattan is always fun! It’s really chilly here today, 36 degrees this morning. The wind has died down a bit. LOL! You are too funny! I hope that you got your errands done and that the rest of your day was nice! Love and hugs to you! XOXO ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. What a pretty card, Justin. I love the circles with the tiny flowers and beads, sequin combo. The font of the greeting is great. I’m glad you get a chance to get into the city occasionally. Take care and have a wonderful Friday, my friend.

    1. Thanks so much HJ! It’s a really nice little set and makes for a fun quick card! I do miss going into the city all the time but as long as I can get in occasionally I’m good! Hope that you had a super day! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. We asdore you too! This really is great. Love the circles to make a wreath. And the bouquet…..you never miss do you?
