Freshly Made Sketches 263

I got a nice surprise at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store yesterday! My little buddy Daniel came by to see me with my Parents! We ran around the store and took rides in my chair! How I love that little guy! He told my Parents that I would be very happy to see him and he was right! Renee was off yesterday and I had my two Card Classes so it was a busy day! My friend Deborah stopped by the store and I made my card for today. After the night class I headed over to Heather’s for Thirsty Thursday with her and Stephanie. I stopped and picked up Wendy’s for dinner, not the best choice but it’s cheap and yummy! Today I have two more Card Classes and a lot of stuff to get done, but I do love every minute of it! πŸ˜€

My card that I have to share with you today uses some new goodies from Pinkfresh Studio and is for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…

The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and across the bottom half is a piece of Pinkfresh Studio Happy Things Doodle Border 12×12 Paper. I stamped all of my images and greeting from the Pinkfresh Studio Late Nights Photopolymer Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black using my Mini MISTI so I could double stamp them so they are nice and bold. I colored in some of the images with Copics and then used the Hero Arts Infinity Circle Dies to cut them out. A Memento Tuxedo Black Marker is used to edge the circles before I adhered them to the card with Fun Foam that I also cut out with the Infinity Circles Dies, the adhesive isΒ some E-Z Runner. A healthy dose of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins and a little Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust Glitter Pen and the card is done! I love the images from the Late Nights Stamp Set, so neat and different! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge! Thanks for coming by today to see me! Have a fantastic Friday! πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you Nancy! It was so much fun to have you in class! I’m happy to hear that you had a good time and that you like the cards! You have an amazing weekend! πŸ˜‰

    1. LOL! I know right?! He’s very funny like that! I thoroughly enjoyed his visit! I’m definitely the luckier one! Glad that you enjoyed the card too! Hope all is well, speak to you soon! πŸ™‚

  2. What a great take on the sketch, Justin. That new stamp set is adorable and perfect for this card. The DSP on the bottom gives a nice background for those circles. How fun for Daniel to visit you at the store and get to see where his uncle spends most of his time. Glad to hear you were able to enjoy Thirsty Thursday with friends. I’m envious of Nancy Farrell because she is close enough to attend your classes. That is a dream of mine, but Delaware is a little too far for a day trip. LOL. Our weather today has been glorious, but going downhill tomorrow. Actually this will probably the last day to come close to 70 until late spring. Can you tell that heading into winter is not my favorite time of year?

    1. Thank you HJ! I thought that the set was fun! Love my little Daniel and he does like coming to see me which won’t last forever so I’ll take it while I can get it! Love my Thirsty Thursdays! It would be so nice if you could come to class, but yes, Delaware is a little far for a day trip. We are in the same boat as you weather wise. So windy here today and cold! I don’t like Winter at all either! Have a great day my friend! πŸ™‚

  3. Great card Justin! I love those different circles you’ve used! The sequins look fabulous!! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
