Mojo Monday 475

Is it really Monday already?! I was extra tired at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store yesterday. Not sure why but I needed a nap! It was so windy and cold here yesterday too, like 50mph winds, crazy! It even snowed a little last night! πŸ™ Taylor did come up to the store to keep me company and make her grandfather a birthday card. I tried to work on some things and did manage to get a few things done but not as much as I had wanted to. Dinner with my Parents was good as always and after I stole a donut from them and came home and had a little coffee and watched some TV. The power keeps going out here for a second every so often lately, it’s getting really annoying! I think that I need to get a battery backup for my computer, not good to have it keep shutting off! Today I will finish up what I wanted to get done yesterday. Renee will be back in the store today, she has her Home Decor class today. πŸ˜€

I always look forward to Monday’s because it’s time for a new Mojo Monday sketch…

I used quite a few different products on my card for today! The base is Ivory 110lb Card Stock. My background is a piece of Classic Cherry with the Hero Arts Hand Drawn Snowflakes Bold Prints Background heat embossed in Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder. The main panel is a piece of Prima Sweet Peppermint No Peeking 12×12 Paper backed with a piece of Rose Chintz. I heat embossed the Hand Drawn Snowflakes again onto a piece of Yellow with Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder and flagged the right side. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th O Christmas Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Onyx Black onto another piece of Rose Chintz backed with a piece of Herb Garden. For my snowflake I used the Tim Holtz Paper Snowflakes Thinlit to cut out a piece of American Crafts Silver Glitter Card and adhered it to the card with Β a 3D Foam Square. All that was left to do was to add a few Pretty Pink Posh Silver Sequins! It’s definitely an eclectic mix of goodies and not my usual style but I do like the way it turned out! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks you so very much for starting your week off with me! Have a magnificent Monday! πŸ™‚

  1. I love all of the elements of today’s card. The “post card” peeking out from behind the snowflake adds so much charm.

    1. Thank you Carol! It’s a little different for me but I loved that paper! Have a great day! πŸ™‚

  2. O.K. Justin – I hope your happy. You put a snowflake on your card which caused the snow you got yesterday to show up here this morning, which means I won’t get to run my errands until this afternoon when it melts, which means I have to get everything done this morning, which means I’m going to be really tired tonight! All this because you made a great card with a glittery snowflake (and you just KNOW I love glitter) and showed it today. Geez! Luv ya, XXOO πŸ™‚
