Paper Craft Crew 219

Yesterday flew by at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store! It rained most of the day, sometimes poured but Angie, Renee and I were very productive! I got a few cards made and sent out a reminder email for this week’s Card Class. After work I came home, had dinner with my Parents and then Heather came by to get me so we could run to BJ’s and Target. I desperately needed creamer! LOL! I couldn’t get my usual Italian Sweet Cream and had to get Hazelnut on Sunday, I haven’t had a good cup of coffee since then! As soon as I got back I made a cup and remembered how much of a difference a good creamer makes! Today I have to get ready for this week’s class, I don’t think that Sue will be joining me, she has my friend John the Painter at her house. ๐Ÿ˜€

So it’s Wednesday, time for another Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

In Concord & 9th’s release this month they brought back an older set that I actually didn’t have and that’s what I used on my card today! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Crd Stock. For my background I used a piece of Kraft. I stamped the greeting in Hero Arts Black Ink from the Concord & 9th Let’s Chat Photopolymer Stamp Set and then wrapped some May Arts Natural Twine around the top and tied it in a bow. The panel is then adhered to the card with E-Z Runner and Fun Foam. My images are from the same set, the spoon is heat embossed in Hero Arts Platinum Embossing Powder into a piece of Galvanized Curious Metallic, the cup and saucer are stamped in Black onto some Ivory 110lb. I cut all of the images out with my Scissors and then stamped the coffee in Soft Brown, dried it with my Heat Tool and then stamped the latte heart in Versa-Mark and heat embossed it with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. The saucer and spoon are adhered to the card with E-Z Runner and the cup with 3D Foam Squares. I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Onyx and Sand Sequins and the card is done! I do love this set, well, the theme isย related to coffee! LOL! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Take a minute to head over to the BLOGย and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter your in the gallery! Thanks for your visit today! Have a wild and wonderful Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Super cute card, Justin. Great idea to emboss the heart in the coffee. Glad you got the perfect creamer!! Have a great day!

  2. Hi Justin:

Love the way you heat embossed the creamer in the coffee. Also using the platinum EB for the spoon couldn’t have been more perfect. I think this is a great card for those “special” friends that one enjoys chatting with in person.

You send your rain here today and it’s cool out there to so it’s the kind of day to spend indoors making cards or shopping on the internet. The hubs told me to make cards – LOL I wonder why? You have yourself a Wonderful Wednesday my friend and do something fun tonight. Love and hugs, XXOO ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Hello Grace!
Thank you! I think that it’s a nice card to send to someone that you haven’t seen in a while and you just want to catch up!
It was a good day to be crafty with the rain! LOL! Hmmm… yes, I wonder why hubs choose cards! LOL! I hope that you got crafty! I had a nice evening with Andrew! Love and hugs to you! XOXO ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. This card makes me want to sit down and have coffee with you–with Italian Sweet cream! Just adorbz–and again–as only you can do–killing it with the fussy cutting! You might think you are just sharing the mundane and ordinary stuff of your life, but I find it charming and–somehow–comforting. Thanks for being so open and genuine!

    1. Aww… thanks Ann! That would be a lot of fun! I’m really happy to hear that you enjoy me sharing my days! I’m glad that I get to share them with you! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. OMG I really need to stop following you, now I want this set! I love this card, especially the embossed creamer and the platinum embossing powder…..perfect touch. LOL, I’m not even a coffee drinker, Ice Tea only, but I ready to sit down and visit.

    1. LOL! No! I like the set because it’s nice and simple Linda! That’s probably why you like it too! You could have your iced tea and me my coffee! It would be a lovely way to spend some time together! ๐Ÿ™‚
