Freshly Made Sketches 267

I had a nice day at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store yesterday. Renee got to go into Manhattan, she had lunch at Eataly and went to The Shops at Bryant Park and then saw the tree! If she has pictures I’ll share some of them with you! Karen stopped by the store in the morning and I got to speak with my lovely friend Grace! After a little trip to the Post Office I worked on a few projects and made a card that I didn’t like at all! Wonder if you will ever see that one?! I also cut for Card Class, I was on top of things! LOL! After work I had dinner with my Parents and then ran to Target to pick up a few necessities including some of that Reindeer Confetti that I used on yesterday’s card! There is a link at the bottom to go to the Store and pick one up if you want! See that… always thinking of you guys! All that was left to do was to make my card for today! đŸ˜€

That card is for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…

I needed to use that fun My Monthly Hero Kit again so I heat embossed the sparklers in WOW! Metallic Gold, Silver and Copper Sparkle Embossing Glitter onto Black Card Stock and then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. For my tag I used the Hero Arts Infinity Tags Dies and then cut off a little from the bottom to give me a shorter tag. My greeting is from the same set and is heat embossed in more Metallic Silver Embossing Glitter. The secondary greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. I cut the reinforcement from a piece of Super Gold Curious Metallic, adhered it to the tag and then tied a piece of Hemptique Black Hemp Twine thought the hole. All that was left to do was to adhere it to a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Black Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. How perfect is that Sparkle Embossing Glitter for those sparklers?! It’s also a pretty simple card with a lot of impact! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge! I always appreciate your visit and wish you all a lovely Thursday! đŸ™‚
