SIP Challenge 78 – Winter Holiday!

The day started off with some rain that washed away the snow so it wasn’t so bad! When I got to the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store I was happy to see that the ceiling didn’t leak! I guess they finally finished the roof. My Ornament Class was fun, since it’s the Holidays and difficult for people to get to come in at specific times we will be extending the class though the end of the week! After work I did the usual, had dinner with my Parents. Heather is back from New Orleans and she came by to get me so I could run to DSW with her. After that I came back home and worked on my card for today. Renee has her All Occasions Card Class today and I have to start thinking about getting ready for this month’s Card Class, it’s Thursday and Friday! 😀

I can finally share what Andrew and I have been working on, the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store is now online! I will be adding more products daily and there will be specials for all of you! Now through December 31st you get 10% off of any purchase of $20 or more, just use the code SIPFBJKC2016 when you check out! Shipping is free on all orders over $50! I will also have links at the end of each post to the items that I have used on my project!

Now on to today’s card which is for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I just had to use one of my favorite sets from Hero Arts again! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the background I heat embossed the Hero Arts Holiday Floral Wood Mount Background Stamp onto a piece of Purple Hearts with some Hero Arts Sparkle Embossing Powder and adhered the panel to the card with E-Z Runner. That favorite set that I mentioned is the Hero Arts Coffee Cup Stamp & Die Combo, I stamped the coffee cups in Hero Arts Passion Flower and Intense Black Inks and cut them out using the Coordinating Dies. They are adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. The cheers is from the September My Monthly Hero Kit and is cut from a piece of Blue Mist and two pieces of Solar White 110lb. I used my trusty Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to adhered them to each other and some 3M Foam Tape to adhered it to the coffee cups. The rest of my greeting is from the Hero Arts Christmas Messages Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of 48lb Vellum. I used Kool-Tak Clear Foam Tape to adhered it to the card. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Lavender Moon and Cornflower Sequins and a little Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen on the cheers was all that was needed to complete the card! I really do love the Coffee Cup Stamp & Die Combo and I have used it a lot in my Holiday Card making this year! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Winter Holiday Theme! Make sure that you stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of my talented Design Team’s cards and let’s see yours in the gallery! Thank you so much for visiting today! Have an awesome Tuesday! 🙂

  5. I have been following you for nearly a year now and have really enjoying reading about your classes and posts. I sure wish you would post some pictures of what folks have done in your classes. I understand they will be after the class, BUT for those of us who live Far Far away (Sacramento, Ca) we can not possibly make it to the classes.

    1. Hi Glenna!
I’m so glad that you have been with us for so long! I do post the cards that we make in class and I posted the ornament today! I hope that you enjoy! If you ever have any more questions or requests let me know! 🙂

  6. Thank you for making your website! I will have to find the time to explore everything!!! Cool colors on today’s card. Thank Andrew too. Our weather hasn’t made up its mind to snow or rain so it’s both. Yuck! I’m staying put today. Stay warm…hugs, Nancy B

    1. You are welcome Nancy! I’m happy with the way it turned out, lots of work but worth it! Andrew has been a big help as always! I think that a little snow and then rain to wash it all away is ok! You stay warm and safe my friend! 🙂

  7. AHA! The coffee cups – I was waiting to see how long it took for you to put another coffee cup card on the site! LOL I think what I like most about this particular card is the subtle embossing on the base card. It adds so much but takes away nothing from the other elements! Great job (as always).

I’m so excited that you now have a website for sales. I’m sure you did all that work with Andrew to keep me from constantly nagging you about product. By the way, you’re welcome everyone! LOL You two did an awesome job.
You have yourself a Meaningful Monday. Love & Hugs, XXOO
