Sophisticated Cozy Love

After a nice warm evening on Tuesday it was a pretty chilly day yesterday. I think that I could do so much better with a Winter in the 60’s as opposed to below 30! Between walking 6 1/2 miles in Manhattan on Monday and Cleaning my house on Tuesday I was a little sore! I guess I really should think about exercising a little more often! When I got to the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store I packed up some orders and took them over to the Post Office. We had Red Robin for lunch…. YUM! LOL! I also got my card made for today before I left. My Parent’s and I had Chinese for dinner, they were out at my Brother’s visiting Daniel and Tristan so no cooking last night. The rest of my evening was spent relaxing and watching HGTV. Tonight it’s Thirsty Thursday, can’t wait to see my peeps! ๐Ÿ˜€

I decided that I wanted to combine a few Concord & 9th goodies and make a Valentine! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamp the heart and some of the wood slices from the Concord & 9th Cozy Up Photopolymer Stamp Set onto Kraft with Hero Arts Cup O Joe. The wood slices are cut out using the Coordinating Dies and the heart is adhered to the card base with E-Z Runner. For the main panel I used the Concord & 9th Layers of Love Die to cut out the leafy heart from a piece of Chinese Red. Myย love is stamped using the Concord & 9th Sophisticated Script Upper and Lower Alphabets in Memento Tuxedo Black in the lower left corner. I adhered the panel to the card with 3M Foam Tape and adhered the wood slices and a few Rose Gold Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh with Multi-Matte Medium to complete the card. I really like the wooden heart with the die cut border around it and that Sophisticated Script Alphabet is fantastic! I hope that you enjoyed my card for today! Thank you so much for stopping by! Have aa awesome Thursday! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Love it!!!!!! I love how you think of repurposing stamps, this is GORGEOUS!!!!!!! So different.

Yep, I too would tolerate winter much best if it was in the 60’s. We should be around 40 for the weekend, I’ll take it knowing that January is such a flippin long month…..

    1. Thank you very much Linda! I love to see what I can do with goodies I already have!
I really do miss the warm! It’s always so windy by the store so in the Winter it’s freezing here all the time! Stay cozy my friend! ๐Ÿ™‚
