Fab Friday 104

Oh, it’s Friday! Which doesn’t mean much for me! LOL! The Pop-In for a Make and Take was a success at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store yesterday! We had lots of fun and I sold a bunch of the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box and Put a Bow On It Lawn Cuts! I left the Store a little early to get to my Parent’s and see my little buddy Daniel! Oh how I have missed him! We played and ran up and down the stairs again. He’s such a funny little guy. After that it was off to see Heather for Thirsty Thursday. It was just the two of us which was great. I needed to be out of the house and to talk to my bestie! Today I want to get the cards for the rescheduled January Card Class finished and up on Facebook. I only have one left to do. Before we got to today’s card I want to take a minute and thank all of you for your kind words that you left for me yesterday. You guys are all amazing and I’m very lucky to have you in my life! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s time nowย for the Fab Friday challenge…

As soon as I looked at the colors yesterday an idea popped into my head! My card base is Ivory 110lb Card Stock. I took another piece and used my Mini Ink Blending Tool to add some Lawn Fawn Fresh Lavender and Merman Ink, blending to the two colors together and then making it into a banner. It’s adhered to the card with E-Z Runner leaving the ends so I could curl them a little. The hearts are all from the Concord & 9th Heart Smile Photopolymer Stamp Set. The large heart is stamped in Fresh Lavender using my Mini MISTI so I could stamp it more than once to get nice coverage. The love heart is stamped in Merman and the other hearts in both colors. I used the Concord & 9th Heartstrings Dies to cut them all out and adhered them to the card with 3M Foam Tape. A little scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins and the card is finished! I love the purple and light blue together and that Heartstrings Die is so neat! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Color Challenge! We hope to see your card in the gallery so stop by the BLOG and get some inspiration from the rest of the Team’s cards! Thank you so much for visiting with me today! Have a fabulous Friday! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Oh Justin,
This card is stunning! I LOVE it!! But you are all sold out of the die… ๐Ÿ™
I put my email on the notify list. The colors are gorgeous!!
This is one of your super WOW cards!

    1. Thanks so much Linda! Can’t be down for too long, then it wants to stay! Hope you are enjoying your weekend! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Love the lavender and teal. I’m so glad I bought this die. Concord & 9th is quickly becoming my favorite design company along with Lawn Fawn. I so appreciate your spotlighting a lot of these products or I would never even know they exist! Your card for today is gorgeous and I love the way you use your ink blending tool to create backgrounds. I’ve had the blending tool forever but still have never even attempted to use it. I think it’s because my go to blending is done with a sponge. I need to start using supplies I have for sure.

Glad you had some one on one time with Heather. Once in a while we need that with our close friends. Don’t get me wrong, groups are always fun but every once in a while one on one just seems so much more personal. I’m sure Heather enjoyed her evening also. Hopefully you have had a fantastic Friday. Love and hugs and many thanks to you for sharing your talents with us. XXOO ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Yes, I love the colors too! Concord & 9th is a great company! I love their designs, so nice and different! Ink blending is one of my favorite things to do, then the paper can be whatever color you want it to be!
Heather is great and we always laugh! I needed to be out of the house! Love and big hugs to you my friend! XOXOXO ๐Ÿ™‚
