Grateful for You Flourish

It’s the weekend! I enjoyed my day at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store yesterday with Renee. We had Taco Bell for lunch, something we haven’t done in a long time! I guess as far as fast food it is one of the healthier options! After work I stopped by my Parent’s and then came home and waited for my friend Jim to come by. We had Chili’s for dinner, chatted for a long time and then watched a movie. A fun way to end the week! Today there is a one day crop at the store, I’ll get to see some of my ladies! Don’t forget that there are only two more days to place your orders for the Lawn Fawn New Release Pre-Order Sale! You can click HERE for more info! 😀

While I was at the Store yesterday I made another simple card that I have to share with you today! To start I stamped the flowers from the Concord & 9th Flourish Photopolymer Stamp Set In Altenew Forest Glades, Evergreen, Rouge, Crimson and Velvet Crisp Ink using my Mini MISTI onto a piece of Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then used the Concord & 9th Grateful Leaves Dies to cut out the grateful from the stamped panel and five more times from a piece of Solar White 110lb. The stamped panel is adhered to a card base of more Solar White 110lb and the die cuts are adhered back into the negative space with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive with the stamped one placed on top. All that was left to do was to stamp the rest of the greeting from the Concord & 9th Lace Leaf Photopolymer Stamp Set in Altenew Jet Black and the card is done! I really love that Flourish stamp and the stacked greeting is so neat and subtle! I hope that you enjoyed today’s card! Thank you for stopping by! Have a spectacular Saturday! 🙂

  1. Hi Justin, I like this technique a whole lot. I hope to try it today. I was thinking simple Valentine’s card with the word love. <3
    🙂

  2. Very elegant. I love how the grateful word is there, and blends so beautifully with the flowers in the same colors.

  3. Love this beautiful card, Justin. The flower is stunning in those colors with the stacked greeting, I love your creativity. As always I pick up tips from you all the time. My life has been a little chaotic lately with fun things, but I’m glad I caught this blog. Have a great weekend.

    1. Thank you HJ! I like that flower stamp a lot, very simple look and the stacked greeting is fun! I’m glad that after all of this time you can still get fun tips from me! I’m happy that you are having a fun kind of chaotic! Hope you are enjoying your weekend! 🙂

  4. I LOVE every element of this beautiful card! Those colors! I love how Altenew coordinates their colors in groups. I’m going to have to invest one of these days.

    1. Thank you very much Carol! I love the Altenew Inks too! They have great coverage and don’t stain the stamps that much! 🙂

  5. Oh Justin – you are on a roll with “WOW” cards. Don’t you wonder what the heck we did before we had the Misti? It is my most used tool for stamping ever. I mean look at the fantastic card you made for today! The flowers and leaves are amazing. Stacking the saying and putting it back into the negative was genius. I can’t tell you how much I love that technique and I want to try it with my next group of cards for sure. Very impressive.

The weather here has been gloomy day after day after day. This morning the sun shone for about an hour and now we are back to blah. I wish it would either snow or sun out there – this is getting depressing. And I think two of my Christmas cactus plants are confused. The pink plant and the white plant are again loaded with buds ready to burst into the magnificent flowers that they are. We are now calling them our Christmas/Easter cactus plants. LOL You have yourself a Stupendous Saturday my friend. Love & Hugs to you. XXOO 🙂

    1. Why thank you Grace! I do love my MISTI, I do remember that old stamp positioner, so glad I don’t have to use that anymore! The greeting is a fun way to change up things a bit! Hope that you do give it a try!
We finally have some sun here today but have the same type of weather as you. I’m sorry, but I’m ready for Spring! LOL! It’s nice that you are getting another show from the cactus! I hope that you had a great Saturday! Love and hugs back to you! XOXO 🙂

  6. This is just gorgeous, Justin! I love the flowers and the colors you used. Just looking at it brings cheer to a gloomy and cold day. I will have to try this technique out very soon with the sentiment. Maybe today if I can get myself into the craft room and just start playing around with things.

Hope you have a wonderful Saturday and stay warm!!

    1. Thank you Christy! We need a little cheer and something to warm us up! I’m over the gloom! LOL! I hope that you had time to give the sentiment a try and that you enjoyed your Saturday! 🙂
