Out of this Box Card

What a nice Saturday! Crop days are always fun at the Store! I had a nice productive morning getting many things that I have been putting off finished! I also got to have a nice long chat with my friend Evelyn and ran out to the Post Office and Aldi with Marianne. After work I stopped by my friend Louis’ house and we ran a few errands. I saw my Parents for a bit when I got home and then went over to Heather and George’s for dinner. He made grilled oysters, seared scallops, salad and seared tuna steaks, it was all really good! We hung out and watched some TV and I was home by 11:00. Taylor fell asleep on the couch, woke up when I got in and left! I have a lot more to get done at the Store today but it’s always fun stuff no matter what! 🙂

I spent a little time playing again with more of the new Lawn Fawn release and made a fun Pop-Up card! This card will be offered as a Class at the Store this Thursday, March 2nd between 11:00AM and 4:00PM. You can go to the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store site to call the Store and sign up! The card itself is cut from Battleship Gray and Black using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up Lawn Cut. I assembled it with Scor-Tape. On the back black panel I used the Lawn Fawn Starry Skies Lawn Cuts to cut out the stars and adhered it to the back panel. My images and greeting are from the Lawn Fawn Out of this World Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped all of the images in Jet Black and colored them in with Copics. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies and adhered to the inside of the card with Acetate and E-Z Runner Ultra Strong. My greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto one of the black panels and adhered to the front flap. I love all of the space images and think this would make an awesome Birthday card for a little boy! I hope that you enjoyed today’s card! Thank you so much for visiting with me today! Have a simple Sunday! 🙂

  1. Hey Justin . . . another great card. Love that it is a pop-up box and the sentiment is perfect for the pop!
Have a wonderful Sunday . . . another beautiful day predicted.
    🙂

  2. O.K. Justin – when I come with the girls I want two types of cards for our class – a shaker card and a pop up card. Got it? Write that down now………………………LOL Love this pop up card and so glad you took a photo looking down on it because with the straight on photo we couldn’t see the stamped stars. I’m thinking Daniel with HJ for this card. I’m sure he would just love it! You did one fantastic job putting this one together for sure. Doe that Lawn Fawn pop up die come with instructions?

Exciting day today. The sun is shining, the snow is melting and finally – racing season starts with the Daytona 500. I hope you are having the same weather we are because I’m sure you’ll have the top down and the sun glasses on. Have yourself a Super Duper Sunday my friend. Love & Hugs to you! XXOO 🙂

    1. I’ll make a note Grace! Glad that you like the card! It was fun a super easy to make! Yup, definitely Daniel, too bad I have to wait until October! There is a video on the Lawn Fawn site on how to put the box together!
I know that you have been looking forward to today for a while! It’s a little too chilly here for the top down today, but soon enough it will be top down day everyday! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂
