Paper Craft Crew 232

Happy Wednesday! The warm temps have subsided for a while, it’s not cold, just crisp! I managed to have another productive day at the Store. I made a few cards and caught up on some paperwork. My Parent’s bought Daniel up to see me for a bit. I was eating lunch when they got there so he helped me finish my Wendy’s Chicken Nuggets, his favorite! He wanted to take some selfies but he said that we had make funny faces…

Such a silly little boy, but I’m right there with him! LOL! After work I got to see him again and we played hide and seek which he thought was great fun! Today I think that Renee might be taking the day off so I’ll be getting ready for the Lawn Fawn order to arrive tomorrow! Can’t wait to get all of those goodies shipped out to you! 😀

If it’s Wednesday then it’s time for a new Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I played with the February My Monthly Hero Kit again to make my card for today! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the clouds in Memento Tuxedo Black and the rain in Soft Pool to make my background panel and that is adhered over a piece of Canvas Texture Sky with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. The single cloud, sun, star and rainbow are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with Copics. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out and added some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to them. My greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of 48lb Vellum that I cut out with the Hero Arts Cloud Infinity Dies. I added the star, sun and rainbow to the Vellum cloud with 3D Foam Squares and then added more to the back to attach it to the card. I then added the single cloud with some more 3D Foam Squares and a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins to finish it off! I love that MMH Set, so many neat and different images in it! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and let’s see yours in the gallery! Thank you for spending some time with me today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

  1. Daniel is starting to look like a little man! How old is he now? He will soon be breaking lots of hearts. Then you will all have your hands full! He is already such a cutie.
Your card today reminds me of your love-hate relationship with the weather. This is all from a kit? Wow! Nice job! I love your sequins raindrops. Have a wonderful Wednesday. Hugs, Nancy B

    1. Yes, he is Nancy! He is just over three years old but looks and acts much older. Yup, he will be a heartbreaker for sure!
LOL! Ha ha! It is from the Monthly Hero Kit! Thank you! Hope you had a great day! Hugs! XO

  2. Love this card Justin. My favorite elements are the cloud that you popped up and placed slightly above the central rectangle. Now, did you draw the shadow under that cloud or is it an actual shadow from taking the photo? Whichever, it’s great. My other favorite element is – surprise, surprise – the embossing on vellum. This card is just too cute and the kit must have been great to have the dies for the sun and rainbow in it. Great job!

Daniel is just too cute! He is growing up way too fast. His generation is so familiar with all the electronic gizmos out there and what is common to them like “selfies” wasn’t even heard of just a few short years ago. These kids are just so smart. Thanks for sharing the selfie – it’s been a while since we have gotten to see Daniel. Have yourself a wicked good Wednesday my friend. Love and hugs to you…..XXOO 🙂

    1. Thank you Grace! I like the Hero Kits! The shadow is from the lighting, sometimes things just work! You know how I like some embossing on Vellum, my favorite!

    1. LOL! Thanks Linda! I always open the Hero Kit as soon as I get it! It’s a fun kit! Oh, I hope you don’t have the snow! After all the nice weather we don’t need to go backwards. You can keep that weather, but thanks for being so thoughtful! LOL! Lawn Fawn out today! YAY! 🙂
