Paper Players 332

I can definitely say that I’m enjoying the weather, it was in the 50’s yesterday! I’ll take that! I had a nice quiet day at the Store. Worked on projects, saw customers and spoke to friends. My Lawn Fawn order will be arriving today. It will all get checked in and packaged up to be sent out with the help of my friend Sue! I’m happy that she is coming, there are a lot of packages to get together! I spoke to my friend Jim on the way home from work and then had dinner with my Parents. I sat and watched this week’s episode of This is Us and then Andrew came by for a visit! His group Satellite Lane has an album coming out soon and he gave me a little preview! It’s great and I’ll be sure and let you all know when it’s available! After he left I watched a movie and then called it a very late evening. Can’t wait to get to the store today and get all of those goodies sent out! πŸ™‚

I have a fun set of cards to share with you for this week’s Paper Players challenge…

I used the Altenew Painted Flowers and Halftone Hello Photopolymer Stamp Sets to make four one layer cards! The hello on all of them is stamped in Velvet and Jet Black Crisp Ink using my Mini MISTI. I then stamped the flowers randomly on each of the cards using Jet Black, Frayed Leaf, Blush, Rouge, Crimson and Velvet Crisp Inks. After the flowers were stamped I added the second parts of the sentiments. They needed a little something more and I was going to use sequins but I really wanted to keep them nice and flat, easy for mailing, so I added some dots with my Uniball Gold Signo Gel Pen. It gave them that something more without adding any bulk to them! I really am happy with the way they came out and can’t wait to give them to someone as a gift! I hope that you enjoyed my cards for this week’s Paper Players Challenge! Thank you very much for stopping by! Have a crafty Thursday! πŸ™‚

  1. Gorgeous one layer cards, Justin! Beautiful colors, and you used one of my favorite Altenew sets. Which reminds me to dust it off!

  3. Nice card set to have on hand Justin. You never know when one of your friends can use a little “pick me up” in the form of an unexpected card. Or maybe someone’s parent who is in a nursing home. An unexpected beautiful card is ALWAYS a gift of a smile and an amazing way to start a day just like some sunshine after weeks of gloomy weather.

How wonderful that Andrew’s group is putting out an album. Looking forward to a little sneak preview for sure. Lots to do today. Yesterday I took down the Valentine’s decorations so today I’d like to get the Easter decorations up. I”m celebrating because my income taxes are done and I don’t have to think about them for another year! Boy, I hate tax time. You have yourself a Terrific Thursday my friend and don’t hurt your back carrying all those orders to the post office. LOL Love and hugs, XXOO πŸ™‚
