SIP Challenge 88 – Anything But a Card!

Is it just me or do Monday’s seem to last a little longer than other days of the week?! I had a good day despite that! Renee and I worked on projects as always. My friend Arnise stopped by to get some Lawn Fawn goodies and I left a little early. When I got home I took a little nap before dinner and then had a few errands to run before settling in for a smidge of TV before bed. Today more projects and planning, never a dull moment at the Store! πŸ˜€

Now on to today’s post, it’s time for a new challenge from Stamp, Ink, Paper

I made a fun little box using Lawn Fawn’s new Fancy Box Lawn Cuts. The box is cut from Moonstone using the die, folded and assembled with some Scor-Tape. To decorate the top I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders and the Lawn Fawn Little Picket Fence Border dies to cut out two pieces of Crisp Green for the hillsides and a piece of Solar White 80lb for the fence. I adhered them to each other with E-Z Runner, trimmed them to fit on the lid of the box, stamped my greeting and adhered them to lid. My images and greeting are from the Lawn Fawn Elphie Selfie Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Jet Black. I colored them in with my Copics and cut them out with the Coordinating Lawn Cuts. I added some Gelly Roll Stardust Glitter Pen to the candles and a few 3D Foam Squares adhere the images to the lid and the box is done! I think this would make a nice way to give a gift card or a little prezzie! I hope that you like my Design Team project for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Anything But a Card Challenge! Take a little time to go over to the BLOG and see what the rest of the Team has come up with to inspire you and add your project to the gallery! Thanks for stopping by to visit me today! Have an awesome Tuesday! πŸ™‚

  1. Oh Justin – this little gift box goes perfectly for the pop up card we all suggested go to Daniel for his birthday. You could put a gift certificate to Toys R Us for a Lego set or something. That little elephant holding the balloon is the cutest and you can just tell he is wanting to drop the balloon and get at the cake! What a great little gift box. I love it.

Sun is shining again today. It’s going to be a great day because we are going to celebrate Valentine’s Day and go out to Applebee’s for dinner. We had that big storm on the 14th so we couldn’t go out but that’s fine. As long as I don’t have to cook and do dishes I’m a really happy camper. I’ll be making up for that tomorrow evening as we are having two couples over for dinner and I don’t have a dish washer. It will be fun and worth the extra work but I’m really looking forward to some good ribs tonight. Yeah. You have yourself a Terrific Tuesday my friend! Love and hugs to you! XXOO πŸ™‚

    1. Yes Grace, I think that you are right! Daniel does like Lego! Thank you!
Glad that you had a nice sunny day for your Valentine’s Day celebration! I think any day can be Valentine’s Day! You always do sound like you have such a good time! Love and hugs to you! XOXO πŸ™‚

  2. This is cute as can be. Any child would love this design but that die is wonderful for anything. My Lawn Fawn order arrived yesterday. Thank you so much for getting it out so quick.

    1. Thank you Brenda! I’m so glad that you got your order! Thanks again for getting it through me! πŸ™‚

  3. Cute……perfect creation for that gift card gift.

I would not wish our weather on anyone. We are in the middle of horrid storms. Heavy lightening, high winds, golf ball hail. Tornados are spotted in many places, one touched down and damaged a nursing home, and the town itself is highly damaged. I’m lucky, just the heavy rains etc, with tornado warnings. Our winter tornados are the worst. I guess that happens when its 70 down south, 60 by me and 30 in Wisconsin. And tomorrow 1-2 inches of snow. Mother Nature needs to go on her meds,

    Take care….

    1. Thank you Linda!
Oh, I don’t want your weather so PLEASE don’t send it! I agree with you, Mother Nature really does need to settle down! Hope that you are safe! πŸ™‚
