Ahhh… Friday! Still my favorite day of the week! I did feel like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz yesterday, it was so incredibly windy! You could actually lean into the wind and not fall over! I had my Pop-Up Box card class at the Store yesterday, a good time as always! Renee left a little early to go and have dinner with her daughter and I had dinner with Daniel and my Parents when I got home. My friend Jim came by and we watched TV and had a nice relaxing evening. I really do need to plan a trip into Manhattan but I think I will wait until the weather gets a little warmer!
Today I have my card for the Fab Friday challenge to share with you…
My card is nice and simple! I started with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My little bit of embossed gold sticking out at the bottom is from the Concord & 9th Lace Leaf Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed the leaf in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of 48lb Vellum and cut it out with the Concord & 9th Grateful Leaf Die. Across the card and on top of the leaf is a piece of Deep Blue with both ends flagged. Next up is a piece of American Crafts Gold Glitter Paper and that is adhered with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My greeting is the Concord & 9th Kind Card Add-On Die, I cut it out of Deep Blue three times and cut off the ends. The die cuts are adhered to each other with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive and to the Glitter Card Stock with Multi-Matte Medium. I decided that I liked it nice and simple so I resisted the urge to add some sequins! I do love the simplicity of the card and we all could use as much kindness as we can get!
