Hello! Yesterday turned out to be a lovely day indeed! It got up into the mid-sixties with plenty of sun! I made sure that I stepped outside quite a few times while I was at the Store! I got in a bunch of new Concord & 9th, got it all checked in and played with some of it too! After work I had dinner with my Parents and came home and cleaned a little. My friend Sue came by and so did Heather and George. A bunch of friends on a Wednesday night, who could ask for anything more?! Today Renee leaves for her little scrapbooking adventure to PA with a bunch of the ladies so I’ll be manning the Store for a few days! đŸ˜€
One of the cards that I made yesterday is for this week’s Paper Players challenge…
A nice layered sketch! My card starts off with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Concord & 9th Heartstrings Die to cut out a piece of Illustrated Faith 12×12 Paper. It’s adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. Next up I heat embossed the XO from the Concord & 9th Love Notes Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a strip of Vellum. My greeting is from the same set and is also heat embossed in Gold onto a strip of Black with both ends flagged. I hid the adhesive behind the black strip and adhered the vellum under it. The flower is from the Concord & 9th Fill-In Phrases Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Ballet Slippers and Bubblegum. I used my Scissors to cut it out and adhered it to the card with 3D Foam Squares. It needed a little Sparkle so I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Ballerina Pink, Pink Blush and Gold Sequins.
