Mojo Monday 489

Well, I enjoyed my day off yesterday! I got a lot accomplished around the house, cleaned, did a little laundry, it needed the attention! I also got in some relaxing time and got to see a lot of Taylor! Today I’ll get caught up at the Store and tomorrow part of the Lawn Fawn Re-Order will be there! I’ll see if I can get it all in today so I can just send out emails to peeps to let them know their stuff is in tomorrow! 😀

A new week and a new Mojo Monday sketch challenge…

I had a little fun with the one of the Add-On sets to this month’s Hero Kit! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the background I stamped the Hero Arts Wood Floor Bold Prints Background Stamp in Wet Cement onto a piece of Shale Card Stock. Across the lower part of the card is a piece of Putty Card Stock. Next up is a circle that I cut out of a piece of Galvanized Curious Metallic with the Hero Arts Infinity Circles Dies. My greeting is from the Hero Arts Many Everyday Messages Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a piece of Chinese Red. On top of the is a piece of Black. The images are from the Hero Arts Welcome Home Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with Copics. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out and adhered them to the card with 3D Foam Squares. It needed a little more so I added some Pretty Pink Posh Raspberry, Sand and Pewter Sequins. I love that Welcome Home Set, especially the chair! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! We hope that you will stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks so much for starting another week off with me! Have a magnificent Monday! 🙂

  1. Cute Justin, instant relaxation came to mind. Ahhh, a good way to start a Monday.
    🙂

  2. Justin — I am having a tough time trying to order from your catalog. Every time I want to go back, I end up in my email. Sorry to put this in comments, but I can’t find the email to you. I really want to get a few things and a lot of them are sold out. I know you would like to help me spend my money, so please help me figure this out. I am sure you have my email address. Thanks! Nancy B

  3. Hi Justin:

Well you have started the new week off with a very, very relaxing card. I love the little kitten and if it were up to me I’d spend my day sitting in that comfy looking chair with kitty on my lap. I think that wood floor background stamp is fabulous and the grain pretty much matches my kitchen flooring. All in all a great card to start the week offl

My wish list for you is growing longer by the day. AND as soon as I hit the lottery I’m going to open Stamp, Ink, Paper store 2 and you are going to have to come and pick up your check for your portion of the profits once a month. Now, when you do that you will be required to run the store for 2 days so I can rest! LOL Have we got a deal or what? Since all the stamp stores around here have closed because the people that ran them all retired I’m sure it would be a huge hit in this area. So, until I hit the lottery I’ll just have to keep buying from you. I just wanted to give you a heads up on my plans. Have yourself a Marvelous Monday my friend. Love and hugs to you, XXOO 🙂

    1. Hello Grace!
Why thank you Grace! I love that chair and yes, it looks really cozy! The Wood Flooring Stamp is sure to become a favorite of mine! You have a very nice kitchen floor!
I can’t wait for you to hit the Lotto! I’ll come by more than once a month! How fun would that be?! Since we both play our chances are much better! Thanks for the heads up!! LOL! Hope you had a good Monday! Love and hugs to you! 🙂

  4. Cute card, Justin. The way you have the strip of red with the piece of black offset a little, it makes me think the cat is in front of a fireplace near the comfy chair. The chair is waiting for someone (me) to come sit by the fire. How the imagination works is amazing! I like Grace’s grand plan for a second SIP store near her. I wish her luck on winning the lottery! Have a great day!

    1. Thank you HJ! There is a fireplace in that set but it didn’t jive with the sketch so I did the next best thing! I do love the way that chair looks, just really cozy! I love when you describe the card to me!! Here’s to winning the Lotto! Hope you had a nice Monday! 🙂

  5. Cute and very comfy. Almost like your relaxing Sunday post. Taylor time is awesome!
Happy Spring. I knew it would eventually come. Now just to warm up, still in low 40s here, and gloomy

    1. Thanks Linda! It does conjure up a cozy feeling! Taylor time is the best!
A Happy Spring to you too! The warmer weather will get here soon, I hope! 🙂
