Paper Craft Crew 233

Just another day at the Store, Renee had her All Occasion Card Class and I got to see some customers and chatted with lots of peeps! After work i went to see Heather. We split a chicken cutlet parmesan hero for dinner and watched Joy, well, the end of Joy. After that I came home and got Winston and settled in for a nice evening of TV. Sometimes I just need to be mindless and TV is the best escape! I need to mix it up a little, I think that I need a trip into the city soon! 😀

Today it’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge day! This week we have a Tic-Tac-Toe for you…

I started my card by stamping the images from the Hero Arts Color Layering Seahorse Photopolymer Stamp Set in Orange Soda, Soft Apricot, Butter Bar, Soft Vanilla, Wet Cement and Tide Pool and cut them out with the Coordinating Frame Cuts. To make my background I stamped the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain Background Stamp in Soft Brown directly onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My file folder is created with the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Tabs Die and a piece of Putty, I added a piece of Seam Binding Ribbon along the bottom and it’s adhered to the card with E-Z Runner. Next I die cut the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Filmstrip Die from a piece of Tropical Sea and adhered it to the card with more E-Z Runner. The stamped images are then added with E-Z Runner and 3D Foam Squares. My greeting is from the Hero Arts Many Everyday Messages Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Soft Brown along the top edge of the filmstrip. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear and Marigold Sequins finish the card! Love the sea images against the woodgrain, you know me, I think that woodgrain goes with everything! LOL! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Tic-Tac-Toe challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and let’s see yours in the gallery! Thanks very much for your visit today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

  1. Seam binding ribbon? Well, how about that! Great card and I love that you showed me another way to use the film strip die. In this case also, the wood grain stamp turned on the horizontal does look like flowing sea water. Great card and the colors are spectacular together.

Hmmmmmm – so you need a change of scenery eh? Well I think you should forget Manhattan and head North for a few days and enjoy the beginning of spring in the beautiful State of Maine. Peace, quiet, relaxation at it’s best. We could do one of those house exchanges -you stay in my log cabin home and I stay in your place on the island and go into Manhattan via Penn Station every day. At the end of a week we will both be relaxed and ready to return to the “norm” of our lives. LOL You have yourself a Wonderful Wednesday my friend. Busy day for me, company coming for a lasagna dinner. Love and hugs to you, XXOO 🙂

    1. Yes, a little ribbon Grace! Thank you! I love that filmstrip die! You know I love that Woodgrain Stamp, it’s my all time favorite!
Yes, I’ll bet the State of Maine would be a welcome retreat. I would have to wait until all of your snow is gone! My apartment is super tiny! You would feel like you were in Manhattan! LOL! Hope you had a lovely time with your dinner peeps! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

  2. Hi Justin,

I hope that you do add a ‘Wish List’ to your store site. I would have added this one too!!! =) Hero Arts is another of my FAVE’s; but, not nearly as bad of an addiction as Lawn Fawn! =)
Thanks so much for sharing with us!
