Paper Craft Crew 235

Well, guess what?! The weather men were thankfully wrong and we only got about 4 inches of snow and then it rained. The snow was really heavy to shovel as you can imagine, still better than the 18 inches that they said we were going to get! I’m sure that the ride to the Store will be fun, it certainly all froze overnight. I spent the day in the house yesterday watching TV and relaxing. I did make my card for today but that was about it. I’ll be glad to get out of the house today! ๐Ÿ˜€

The card that I made in the Stampin’ Galley is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch…

I used the March My Monthly Hero Kit to make my card! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with a strip of Carta Bella Copper Dots Vellum 12×12 down the left side. I stamped my images from the March My Monthly Hero Kit in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them in with Copics. The Coordinating Dies cut them out. I used a Craft Knife to be able to slide my carrots into the basket. The circle is a piece of Lawn Fawn Noble Fir cut out with the Hero Arts Infinity Circles Dies. I heat embossed the greeting in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. A strip of Tip Top Taupe and a strip of Tangelo Twist are adhered across the card and then the circle is adhered with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. All that was left to do was to adhere my bunny and basket with some 3M Foam Tape and the card is done! Love that little rabbit and his basket of carrots, so cute! 1. Hi Justin:

Super duper sweet card today Justin. That bunny is so cute and the way you put the carrots in the basket using the craft knife is really neat. The copper dot vellum is the perfect added touch to bring out the basket. Love it!

We got 2′ plus of snow but, thankfully, we didn’t lose our electricity. Ken and I have decided we are number then rocks. Our neighbor directly across the street called this morning and asked if we saw the police cars and ambulances at his house last nigh around 9 p.m. Well, Ken was in the living room and I was in the craft room and neither of us noticed a thing. Evidently our neighbor got his hand caught in his snow blower (long story) and it was a mess over there. Ken is over there now trying to snow blow his driveway clear so he can get back in it. People need to learn to be careful with snow blowers. Like I said, we must be number then rocks. You have yourself a wonderful, sunshiny day my friend. The sun is shining and the snow is sparkling. Love and hugs to you, XXOO ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Hey Grace!
Thank you! I like the bunny too, he nice and simple! I have had that paper for a long time and thought it was high time I used it!
I’m glad that electric stayed on for you! But I’m happier that we didn’t get any snow! OMG! Yikes! That could not have ended well! I feel a little sick thinking about it. Hope that you are still enjoying all of that snow! Love and hugs to you! XOXO ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Your card today is precious. It’s not often that you do “cutesy” but the bunny is So-o-o cute.

Hope Spring comes soon to you. Hugs!!

    1. Thanks so much Carol! Cute is fun every once in a while!
Spring can’t get here fast enough! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. So cute I love this kit. I hope to play with it this weekend. Im glad the storm was a bust for you. Four inches and icey rain is bad enough

    1. Thanks Linda! Me too! I hope that you got your play time in! I’m so glad that the storm was a bust too! It wasn’t too bad, but then I didn’t leave the house! ๐Ÿ™‚
