Paper Players 333

We had a weird day weather wise here yesterday, it was supposed to be in the 70’s and didn’t get past 50 and was windy and misty, just odd. I had one of those I can’t focus mornings but managed to get it together by the afternoon! I made my card for today and for tomorrow too! After work I stopped home and then headed over to the Massapequa Park train station to pick up my friend Chantal! We haven’t seen each other in way too long! We had a lovely dinner at a little restaurant in town and got all caught up! I have missed her! A little TV when I got home and then a relatively early night. 😀

Today I have my card for this week’s Paper Players challenge…

My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with a piece of paper from the Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wonder Petite Paper Pad cut with the largest of the Zig Zag Rectangles Stackables Lawn Cuts adhered to the front as the background. Next I stamped my flowers, leaves and butterflies from the Lawn Fawn Fab Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set in Fresh Lavender, Juice Box, Ballet Slippers, Bubblegum, Sunflower, Carrot, Jalapeño and Noble Fir Ink and used the Coordinating Lawn Cuts to cut them out. My greetings are from the Lawn Fawn Happy, Happy, Happy Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Bubblegum, Carrot and Juice Box and also cut out with the Coordinating Lawn Cuts. I used the Lawn Fawn Zig Zag Circles Stackables Lawn Cuts to cut out two pieces of Wildflower Honey and a piece of Ballerina Pink. They are adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. All that was left to do was to adhere the images and greetings! I love the nice soft colors and the Happy, Happy, Happy set is one greeting set that everyone should have! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Paper Players Sketch Challenge from LeAnne! Thanks you for your visit! Have an interesting Thursday! 🙂

  1. Hi Justin:

You clever guy you! I see you have the “cogs” in the zig zag circles perfectly intertwined. It looks like you could turn any one of the three and get them all moving around. I love all the Easter colors and since I bought the Bubblegum ink pad from you that has become one of my absolute favorite colors. I think the Lawn Fawn ink pads are the prettiest colors I own and I own a lot of stamp pads. Their colors are not only very true to what is on the labels but the names definitely fit them perfectly. Thanks for turning me on to Lawn Fawn inks Justin. Beautiful card today, I love it!

I think you sent your weird weather here today. When I got up this morning the sun was shining and it looked like a super spring day. Right now it’s kind of a rain snow mix coming down and the wind is picking up. Just plain weird. We did have one indication that spring is almost here and that is the group of wild turkeys in the yard digging for grubs where the snow has completely melted. So, you good weather is coming…………..be patient. Love and hugs and wishes for a Terrific Thursday my friend. XXOO 🙂

    1. Hey Grace!
LOL! I didn’t even see that, but you are right! I like the pastels too, they make for a nice soft card! Bubblegum is a great color for sure and the rest of their colors are great! Thank you!! Glad that I was able to introduce you to something new!
Yup, that’s the same kind of day we had, sorry that it came up to you! Glad that Turkeys could give us a heads up! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

  2. I love this card, Justin, with the bright, spring colors and the zigzag background and circles. The happy in three different fonts really makes me happy!! I agree about yesterday being a very weird weather day. We had sun, overcast, hard rain, sun and then calm. Today is sunny but cold and quite windy. Have a good day, my friend.

    1. Thank you so much HJ! I like the Zig Zag dies much more that I thought I would and the Happy Set has some really good greetings in it! Glad I wasn’t the only one to have a weird weather day! Hope you had a great day! 🙂

  3. Beaitiful. I think of an Easter card when I see this. cold and snowy today, but it beats the wicked weather of Tuesday. 50 by Saturday. Oh….I cant wait.

Your life is so rich, thanks to your many friends. You are blessed

    1. Thank you Linda! The pastel colors definitely lend themselves to Easter! We are having cold weather again! Enjoy you 50! It’s to be in the teens here!
