Simple Fab Flowers

Hello from the frozen tundra! It’s really cold and super windy here again! It was a nice day at the Store, toasty warm with all of the ladies at the Crop. I spent some time with my friend Evelyn straightening out her iMac in the morning and then made a few cards. Evelyn also made the Pop-Up Box Card from last week’s class. After work I had some Chinese with my Parents and then came home and relaxed. A nice quiet evening, just what I needed!

Today I have a nice simple card using one of my favorite sets from the latest Lawn Fawn Release! I created my card base from some Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. All of the images and greeting are from the Lawn Fawn Fab Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the stems and leaves in Jalapeño and Noble Fir onto the card base. My flowers are stamped in Fresh Lavender and Sugarplum onto some Solar White 80lb and cut out with the Coordinating Lawn Cuts. I adhered them to the card with 3D Foam Squares. All that was left to do was to stamp the butterfly and greeting in the same colors as the roses and then card is done. Super simple and would make a nice set of cards to give to someone! I hope that you enjoyed my card for today! Thanks for spending a little of your day with me! Have a simple Sunday my friends! 🙂

  1. I love this clean, crisp, beautiful spring card, Justin. Those colors, the sweet greeting and the popped up flowers equal beautiful. I’m hoping the forecast is wrong about the heavy snow we’re supposed to get Monday and Tuesday. Will someone please give Mother Nature some meds? Have a wonderful Sunday after losing an hour’s sleep, my friend.

    1. Thank you HJ! I love that set and love a nice simple card! I’m with you, I don’t need any more snow. She definitely needs something! Hope you enjoyed your day, I did! 🙂

  2. Hi Justin:

I absolutely love this card. Would you please add this Lawn Fawn stamp set along with the coordinating dies to the order I have with you now? I have looked for a long time for a “simple” flower stamp with coordinating die but haven’t been successful until today when I saw your card. Your color combinations are always so striking and what a perfect Easter card this would make.

Everyone’s talking about the weather here. Up north is forecast to get 18″ plus. I think we are probably forecast for about a foot but I didn’t pay that close attention. We are prepared with plenty of food on hand – well, at our house there is always plenty of food on hand LOL – gas for the generator and snow blower and there is always alternatives to watching TV and using the computer to keep us busy. You know, old fashioned stuff like reading a good book or playing a board game. You have yourself a Super Sunday my friend. I’m going to hunker down and watch the race this afternoon. Love and hugs to you – XXOO 🙂

    1. Hello Grace!
Thank you! Yes, I’ll add them, they are my favorite from the release! Nice and simple! I love the Lawn Fawn inks, so nice and vibrant!
I need to think about getting some stuff for my house, I never have food! But I can always go next door! LOL! I will be finishing my Michale Chrichton book that I’m reading! I love him! Hope that you had a good day! I had a wonderful day! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

  3. Gorgeous, love the poped up flowers, the font and of course the gorgeous colors. Beautiful and sunny here, but cold. I dread what is coming, up to 8 inches. It will be hell getting to work tomorrow. I wish it came today as originally forecasted. Heading off to droop some well loved craft stuff at a garage sale. Fingers crossed it sells. I usualy do pretty good at this sale, but with tomorrows weather I doubt it

    1. Thank so much Linda! I’ll take your 8 inches compared to the 12 -18 that we are supposed to get! I hope that your stuff sells and that they were wrong about your snow, and mine too! 🙂
